I’m an artist/producer/performer based in canada and have been making music on the computer for about 4 years. Even though I've played instruments my whole life, I didn't really think I could make music until I went to art school and started in the sound art program there. Then I got hooked! I’ve been focusing on making music my full-time career for a little over a year now.

✧༄ؘ♥ relaxing moments: gentle improvised music
This is a recording of an improvisation session, blending ambient textures and electronic beats to make a dreamy, calming atmosphere. I’m using the #abletonpush3 to record and manipulate clips live, alongside a Novation Launchkey 49 and the #intellijel metropolix and atlantix. This session was all about exploring gentle, relaxing textures and seeing where the music would take me.

Yes, I totally agree with another commenter that Lunr Girl is one of the best finds on YT this year. You inspired me to upgrade my DJ setup and throw several tracks into the mix again. some of the contortions you do make me laugh, cuz I've done that, good to see you again. I realized, as a victim to what I listen to(lol), you hit goldfrapp's 'tales of us' feel when you are just reaching out with the vocals(the beginning before the downward e minor walk). Great play, you spanned a bit there, good job!

@@TM-hw5tq no mist filter! My lens might have been a bit dirty tho 😅 And 8east is a small venue for art and improvised electronic music in Vancouver :)

A very enjoyable solid performance, take the W, even the minor imperfections just made it more human, real and thus good. 🙂 Curious about that wearable mic, as they tend to be condensers, but it didn't seem to pick up too much extra(when you picked up the bass, tiny thump)
@@gossamyr thank you so much! glad you enjoyed it ☺️ yeah the headset mic is dynamic - and wired (which I want) but I haven’t figured out how to avoid thumps when I put my bass on etc. :/ (this was only my second day using that mic)
