Great Episode.
thank you. 😄
I love, love this episode. We want the guys back!
New here loved this ep.
Emotional maturity is: 1. recognizing and acknowledging that your emotions are valid but your actions are not e.g. your anger is valid, you yelling is not 2. Realizing that you need to respond to situations rather than react and that means taking some time to understand the emotion before acting on it.. It is allowing yourself to use logic to understand the emotion
In a country whose population is largely youth, I find it very problematic that in 2024 we are talking about having entities separate from the government to address issues relating to the youth. Why is it that we are saying that the youth are left out when we have elected leaders in parliament who are youth and these conversations are not being had? In my opinion, it is the simple fact that we even choose to have people as 'Youth Leaders' that is the problem! Factually, the existence of the National youth council has had minimal to no impact in pushing the youth agenda. In a machine whose most vital cog is the youth, aren't we shooting ourselves in the foot with this approach. If we held our politicians (notice I didn't say leaders) accountable and fought for systems that work, would we be in need of 'Youth leaders'? Just thinking out loud.
I've listened to so many people talk about emotional maturity and this has been the most eye opening. We always want to approach it from a complex pov bujt I like how the guys have simplified it, albeit the heavy words to literally how you go about experiencing life and how you choose to react to things that happen to you. Absolutely loved it! Petition to have Owen write that book soooooooooon!
Awesome, it is definitely good to chime in and have these conversations
I love what you guys did there with the outfits

How do we drill Konene later? In my head, "That's what she said!"
Our generation has been conditioned to think kids are bad news and yet they arent. When a friend tells you they are expecting, we often think its unfortunate news, yet it is good to see and have a new life. Great conversation!
where is the other part of this podcast🙂🥲
We've updated our episodes.
when Konene spoke about networking and how hard it can be but still necessary and living through the hards of friendship i felt that! Such a lovely episode, very anti-climatic end though
Kartelo huwa Co-host wa Chipukeezy show.
