I would place money on them using thier eve 2000 cells from the 2Ah HP and 4Ah HP batteries. Data sheets available from eve.

The problem with using them to charge your phone, they get hot. Sure they are useful in a pinch but there are better and safer ways to charge your other devices. I am going to try their 18V USB connector to charge our devices with their new ones that run cooler, just like what you are doing as your test source. Yeah nice you can charge 3 at a time for these smaller 4v batteries. With the 2 amp/h I get about 80% charge on my iPhone 15. Ryobi posts misleading stats on things, for example their 1800 Watt power station is only 1600 Watts but cam run 1800 Watts for up to 3 minutes. I wish they were more forthcoming with their stats.

cool idea for the fresh air vent! if you were to add that fresh air vent to say the right or left side of the green house, would it open up as well or no because it has to be on the opposite side of the shutter exhaust fan how you placed yours?

Awesome! Just wiring up my Bosch charger plug to my solar stuff now. Can you tell me more about how you wired the 5v line? I assume the positive 5v goes to the third Bosch wire but what about the negative 5v line? Thanks!

Not positive (no pun there fella) but I think I would prefer a gasoline powered direct 48v DC charger setup. If it can be done safely. It seems on paper to be way more efficient - charge rate, weight, balance, cost, reliability (any weather or hour), and simplicity. Simplicity as a system as well. Also you add those up and it equals better safety. Unless you have a vested interest in solar - like you're selling them - I'll take a 20# power-pack - and move to the suburbs cause you're in pickup truck country. And those country people do love their 'shine'. Hope you're well. (6)

Great project! I'm new to this,and I have a question. Your are charging 18V battery with 24V solar panel system. Does Ryobi battery have MPPT built in or you can set up your Victron MPPT to 21V? Im just wondering how you prevent from charging. Thanks in advance.

Is it safe to connect the Ryobi 40v battery to the unit BEFORE setting the custom 41.7 voltage on the unit? I tried without a battery and it didn't work. Specifically it didn't cycle back down to 24 after crossing the 80 something max

I tried this for my ebike but the battery does not charge. The indicator LEDs blink once to indicate charging and then they hold steady. My battery is a Bosch PowerPack Frame 500Wh, do you know which battery you are using in the video? It looks slightly different. I also tested the ebike's included charger and it has no voltage accross the 40V PIN, only the 5V pin, so I wonder if this battery might be doing some communication?

CAN YOU HELP ME ????? Im trying to figure out how to use 40vdc to run a trimmer, but there are 2 pins more than positive and negative. it is a hart brand 40v . i cant find any info anywhere.

The Bilt Hard 173cc sold on Amazon is the same engine with a Blue engine cover and $70 cheaper at $159. I just installed one on my DR trimmer mower replacing the junk Briggs 7.25. I'll upload a video on it in a day or 2.
