Iconic Seiko diver - Turtle SRP773J
Seiko introduced the first Turtle in 1976 for the Japanese domestic market only. The watch, reference was 6306-7000/1, and it was designed by Ikuo Tokunaga.
It was nicknamed turtle by its case shape which resembles a turtle shell, and ever since became a trade mark for Seiko+
Seiko turtle is probably one of the best affordable dive watches with a proper history. It is 200 meters certified diver watch high quality construction. It is comfortable to wear regardless of its weight. It has a proven Seiko movement with a lot of spare parts, and servicing it doesn’t cost much, if it ever needs to be serviced actually. But of course I do recommend it. Its ruff and forgiving watch, with excellent value for money and its reputation built over the years.

Watching this with da same watch on my rist. DW-5600HR-1CR. I rotate between my mudmaster GG100-1b
I have this watch and a 19cm wrist as well but kept mine on the bracelet.
I have one of these... Pretty much satisfied with it... Bracelet's a nice touch... 👍
Nice video! Your accent is familiar - Balkans?
IMHO one if not THE best re-issue Seiko has ever done. I have owned a Triple-7 Turtle for a few years now, and it's certainly a keeper! I wear mine on a CNS ribbed G10 strap. Great video. Keep up the good work!
Thank you... I do have this one for some time, and it sayed with me over the years, now it has a sentimental value also, because of my sons birth. I think that for the watch of this size to be comfortable on any bracelet ot strap is just amasing.
Diving back into the bin for the bracelet was a nice touch :) Watch collectors don't throw out anything!
🤣😅 exactly...
Nice video. Price? Do you recommend?
For what it’s worth, I have three to include a king turtle and highly recommend them. SRPE07, SRPE93, SRPE99.
@@RangeMaster1050 nicely said, I have nothing to add. You can find these in different variations from 350 eur and up. But it is on the maeket for a while and I imagine there are sales as well with more affordable prices.
Thanks for the video. I am looking at the older PADI version of the Turtle and liked all the info in this!
You welcome... You can't miss with this one, any edition...
I placed the order for a 40mm spirit with the white dial. Beautiful watch.
That last watch is a marvel
An absolute stunner...
Thats the most impressive and indept video . THANKS
I have two Planet Oceans in my collection: a black 42mm three hand version from 2008 and an orange chrongraph from 2009. On my 16.5cm wrist the smaller one of course fits very well but since my wrist is more flat and wide rather than round the chrono also wears decently. Last year I added the orange rubber strap with the deployant clasp and it feels like a new watch. Not only does it now appear almost completely in orange but it is also much lighter and keeps its position on my wrist much better.
I agree, it is more complete with orange band, and rubber for the 45mm is much comfortable, as it is a heavy watch... 42mm one is much more versatile for any wrist.
Crappy battery life of only 2 years ? At $100+ it is no beater watch !
Well im beating it for 3 and a half years now, battery still ok, scars from hiking, running, hard work. This here is one happy camper... 😀
maaaaaan thats not the strap of that watch
Nato band with the stripes is aftermarket, just to show how the other strap can change perspective of the watch. And this one is a legit strap monster. Later on in the video you can see the original one, tan one, with strap reference number and other info... You can check it out. ;D
I have the original model and while I do love the more polished look of the new model, I absolutely HATE ghost dates. To me, they are the second most lame thing on a watch after fake subdials. If Bulova put the date window back, this would be a near-perfect watch and it's stupid that they took it out because the complication is still there, you just can't see it. That's why I hate ghost dates.
Agree...
Nice one...

Watch for every occasion.
Excellent watch...
Wow.
A thing of beauty!!!! Nice video by the way.
Tnx... it is quite iconic watch, and also considering price, very affordable.
where it's made?
Bulova is headquartered in New York- however it is owned by Citizen, and has its watches manufactured in Japan, Switzerland, and Hong Kong. This one, I could only assume...
Now, there is also a possibility that the cases are made in Hong Kong, movements in Japan, and all assembled in Switzerland. 💁♂️
First time on your channel and this is some slick production. Greatly appreciated, thank you!
Much appreciated!
Great camera work and stunning detail. Awesome!
Thank you, Im glad you enjoyed it.... 🙂

Your favourite omega replacement... 😂
for those who love the looks but can't afford one...
Man this would be a definite buy for me if it had a ceramic bezel, not sure why TUDOR cannot get on board with ceramic bezel’s.
Wonderful collection
Thank you... I hope more watches will come and leave my collection, since thats the only way to share videos, opinions of more brands and models... And enjoy them as well... 🙂 Will be posting further on... Best regards...
Nice Sharing
Saving for a 37mm blue.
The 37 mm version is the most complete of the all, better clasp with plenty of micro adjustment and perfect symmetry of the dial with date window at 6clock. really underrated watch IMHO
I agree, its better looking with date window at 6, and fonder of micro adjustment clasp as well. Can’t tell why they did not throw out the 3 hour marker in full, leaving the half of number like that. Also I think that the bigger date window on 42 would be better...
Nice review and beautiful watch 👍
Thank you... 👍
Longines really had a interesting background in aviation...
Love Casio DW H5600 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
200 m is a lot for a GMT you would fly with. I think 100 m enough as i would not dive with it.
Its toooooooo thick and needs a jubilee strap. But a nice review and video.
Does the Tudor BB GMT bezel glow red like the Rolex Pepsi?
No it doesnt have luminova on the bezel...
Perfect watch for everyday use, me love it too 👌👌👌
Wicked about time Swatch uses an automatic movement. Given it doesn’t hack but it’s a move in the right direction. Besides the ex co-ceo said the he would never put a Quartz movement on any Blanpain watch. I’m not much on those colors. I’m more like a nice ceramic black and dark gray. I can go without the date. But the 51 movement comes with a date calendar. Only 2 of the Blanpain Swatches come with ghost position. Those 2 if I’m correct have the moisture detection window above the six position. I’ll wait for the black one to come out. Enjoy to all who have purchased them. They are way better than the MoonSwatch my opinion. I had the Mercury version,I used it for a while and the I lost the fascination with it so I sold. Enjoy to all.
Well, Sistem51 is around for some 10 years now. Id say the movement is solid for this kind of watch type. I agree that it is much better than quartz movement therefore BP keeping the word. It probably was one of the conditions, or maybe elaborated years ago also with moonswatch as well. It is novelty and trinket, and will be enjoyed by the masses... 😉 And swatch also 💴💵💶
Not a fan of skeleton watches but I am of this one. It’s a taste of skeleton not too much. Just saw a green version. That’s my next purchase
Me too, never had any love for full skeleton watches. So this one comes as a compromise...
Got mine £1500 under retail . True story 3 months the watch was 🤩
I just bought a lightly used in pristine condition 2022 model with box and papers/card for $3100 total including tax.
I bought my Tudor BB GMT 2 and a half years ago and I'm delighted with this watch. Everything works perfectly and for sure than I'm going to keep it forever, I love it Congratulations with your purchase end enjoy it. Many thanks for the video.
I like your intro song. Sounds kind of James Bond ish. :)
Just purchased the BB54. Want this in a smaller case (dreaming).
