If Timbo Stayed in Shape He Would Still be Dominating This Crop of Players...Even While Out of Shape He Won The 10K Singles

Great interview, Timbo is the goat and great advice from one of the greatest players ever. Hopefully you find your motivation and dominate once again.

As Far as 1 Wall Handball Prime Timbo Was a Great Player But He Certainly is Not The Goat...Rookie Was WAY Past His Prime and Beat Timbo "Twice" at KOTC When Rook Was in His 40s

most importantly we need the players to stand firm on what they think they rank and stick to that division. you can obviously tell who's a rookie, novice, and experienced player by watching them play. Ultimately it is up to the person to say hey I think i need to win a few C or B tournaments and build a resume.

Great interview. Glad I came across this channel. Would definitely love to see Timbo dominate 1 more time. His personality off the court and thru interviews is totally different from him on the court. What he's doing with the Juniors is outstanding. My hats off!!!

Great interview Timbo is a legend and has very high handball iq. Being a 3wall player it’s very interesting hearing the different strategies that relate to 1wall.

I think Timbo’s intelligence is what made him the living legend he is today. This cat played every sport imaginable before he started playing handball. All that cross playing training helps become you become a better athlete at any sport you decide to ultimately play in. I say that because, when Timbo started coming out to the west coast and playing against these top players, the problem with one wall players is the learning curve, because you’re adding walls. I used to play with Tavo @ 102nd & 2nd Ave Spanish Harlem, right before he became pro, so back then 3wall wasn’t known to me. I came out to the west coast and was surprised at these added walls. So it took me sometime to master this game. Now because of this interview, I understand how Timbo was able to master this 3-wall game so quickly. He probably watched video footage before he played against the top athletes and knew their weaknesses. But, I was always blown away by how fast he learned the 3-wall game and mastered it so quickly. He also killed quickly in the indoor games as well. The greatest student of the game, turned out to be the best player the game has ever seen. 🙌

It was great hearing you guys talk about the sport and some of the things it needs to get to the next level. One of the reason the sport doesn't move is that it doesn't seem to have a strong governing body with memberhsip fees and just one set of rules. The sport doesn't seem to have a cohesive season, big events are just spreadout throughout the year all over the place. This sport like many others is run by passionate individuals who give a tremendous amount of their time and money but go unappreciated and they eventually burnout. I've seen European events run so efficiently and organized and I believe with guys like you this can get done.

A union with paid membership (dues)? Doubt it. A lot of players cannot divert funds and time to that. Would that not cause a divide? Also, so if you're not a union member you can't attend tournament XYZ, is that correct? All this talk about players fixing themselves, what about bad ref-ing? There is no review of that bad behavior. Please don't say that ref's do not antagonize players and abuse their power at times. Goes both ways gentlemen.

May the Lord bless all the players and touch their heart to bring this sport to the highest possible level of Professionalism and respect ... I attempted for over 30 years to give back to our youth and our community and in doing so highlighted the most talented players of all time ... Thank you Carlos thank you Justin my highest point was when I was considered relevant enough to stand on the same concrete courts with the best players this game has ever known ... Blessings to all and keep striving for a better tomorrow ...

Said that 100 years ago. Handball can learn a ton from Tennis. We need a point system and/or a better way to grade player ranking. So inconsistent the ranking system. Oddly ridiculous at times. Also, video needs to change 100. So hard to keep track of the ball when the quality of the video is so horrible. Viewers are unable to appreciate the plays because they can't see the ball. So many great games and such sloppy footage of it. One day......

I watched as usual and don't think Ty was being bitter at all. He just stated what was the obvious and it seemed that different ones just wanted to pick at what was said. Honestly...

The most important thing that was said was about Tournament Relevancy. Tournaments are watered down to the brim. Only way to grow the sport is to work with each other. We don’t need new Coordinators/Directors, if you got money/time to spend, please reach out to the people that’s already in place like impact pro, David Valez, Toca, The Committee etc. And obviously me 😘
