I don't blame him. I find it extremely distracting when people use their laptops in class. But he should not destroy personal property.

Well, if you take a picture, it's obviously a picture. It'd be hard to replicate the PowerPoint perfectly from them. I'd think that the benefit of easier learning would outweigh the risk of students using the lectures for unintended purposes. I'm in the sciences, and most people don't care about selling lectures. Then again, you're talking about a business class, which is about ethical money-making, so maybe it's different.

It's not distracting if everyone is using them. And that makes no sense. You can't "steal" the PowerPoint if he doesn't post it. The most you can do is take a bad-quality picture. Typing isn't any more stealing than writing is. So basically, everyone's a thief, and writing just slows the stealing down. If it's that big of a deal that no one steals "his" information, he shouldn't be teaching it. Freaking laws.

But I don't get it. Why doesn't he want laptops in his class? In the video, it seems that he's assuming the people always use laptops for finishing work and not taking notes. I also don't see the big deal if you're just finishing work. It's not like it's distracting like a game might be.

haha this was in my engineering physics class, we actually thought it was real at first and we were speechless but then we found out it was fake like the next day. He has been my all time favorite professor.

Hey, yeah I found out not long after when I got on a bus that it was just a derby game, I am actuly in Fethiye, I couldn't begin to imagine what Istanbul would have been like last night!. If only people were like this in England after a local derby, it would be mental! Thanks for the comments!

lol to the uploader of this video. u said "they must have won something" and they did, but yeah it was not the cup or the league it was just a derby with our biggest rivals. football is turkeys religion and fenerbahce is turkeys biggest and best club... if u are still in Istanbul i suggest going to one of the fenerbahce games...dont bother with the other rubbish clubs, lol... the atmosphere is wild brother.. anyways i hope your having fun in turkey... take care
