Repetition, start with one command, find a treat that your dog likes. Come or sit are good ones to start with. Praise and treat as soon as you get the desired response. Keep training sessions short so you don't overwhelm the dog. Watch aome training videos on TH-cam too, they can help!

@@kharrelson2 We just don't have them. We have areas that are dog friendly, but not specific parks that are fenced in where all dogs can socialise off lead. Because of that we have a mix of nervous owners who never let their dogs off lead, and those who without regard let their dogs free to bother owners with dogs on leads. Amongst those of us who just want all dogs to socialise. There are many aggressive people that don't consider their dogs and spoil for a fight with any who don't do things their way. If you want to have your dog off lead without any confrontation, you have to hire by the hour a field just for yourself and your dog. Doggy parks are the way to go. I saw one in NYC and thought its a brilliant idea.

@@dianebryan8595 maybe you could petition your area to have one? There are occasionally problems at them, so I guess I could understand not wanting the liability. However I am a big believer in a well socialized dog is a a good dog. Interesting though that you can rent out a field, I haven't heard of that. Or maybe you could find a group of people that are interested in renting the field together and doing doggy playdates?

They absolutely love them! I need to make another batch. Have you tried any other treats? I am going to use ice cube trays and freeze plain Greek yogurt with fresh blueberries soon.

They didn't get to keep the bones for longer than it took to get the meat off 😉 also, it was a tomahawk bone really too big for her little mouth to do much damage on
