The kob were loose in the local estuaries in East London the last few weeks and this particular session was no different. We started the session with a double up it just got epic from there onwards. Farquhar Atoll - Landing a big GT around coral heads

We spent the day around a newly fished coral ridge on Farquhar Atoll in the Seychelles where we see big GTs almost every outing and it didn't take long to find a few big ones around 1 coral head. Whats the type of fly for the grouper dry or wet and is it slow sinking?
We just used an EP baitfish pattern with EP fibre, tan and white

@@heinzventer5849 this was now in June. There are usually quite a lot of garrick still around and kob are always there, summer is definitely better all round though. Yellowtail are around in summer as well. Shad are around more in June though

how do you find the sahara 3000? reliability , strength etc?
It's a decent reel but I reckon I'll upgrade soon, it's not really the most durable if you're a bit rough with gear, which I am 🤣
