Lucky star is one of my favorite animes. It was one of the first animes I watched that wasn't a Saturday morning cartoon that came on TV.

It was a work of art! A rellic from a better time and a bygone era!

Idk man, still pretty funny. I think just a lot of the references wouldn’t be understood. I’ll never forget Lucky Star. It felt like my guilty pleasure for enjoying the damn intro song so much. Would be neat to see a sequel to Lucky Star but with up to date references and jokes of the anime of today. Using the same characters but turning them into moms. Konata would still be a shorty. But they’d have kids. And those kids would embody today’s anime climate and jokes and references. AND THEN when ultimately Lucky Star 2 becomes too old for it to make sense again you can keep that story in the NEXT sequel. going like fucking JoJo’s family lineage but instead of Jojo, it’s Konata. :D Basically a generational anime that follows the modern jokes and trends of the anime of that day but also seeing into the past of the “moms” or even dads of the last characters. Treating a wider audience with the new and old references
