The insane mode is just the game cheating. Super boosts, enviroment advantages for gym leaders but the worst of all is the shitty pokes you get in the world.

Dear people who make tag battles in these rom hacks, please stop making the AI ally useless! It’s just artificial difficulty and it only makes people dread tag battles because they’re unnecessarily frustrating, getting double teamed because the garbage ally’s team dies so quick isn’t a fun or interesting way of making a fight hard. At the very least, let us either just refuse to accept the ally’s “help”, or let us send out a 2nd Pokemon once the ally runs out of Pokemon.

You can use defog before the battle with mirskle to remove the fog, you also are given a pair of goggles for the powders too.

i learned this from playing this romhack: i'm pretty bad at pokemon. i had many (probably 10+) full team deaths before even hitting elite four. on DIFFICULT difficulty.

I'm shit at pokemon and I beat this game in hardcore mode counting likely over 1k deaths. The game is super well made and is really fun. Hardest fights for me were : 3rd : Misty 2nd : Surge 1st : Giovanni ( the only fight where I used a Legendary ). I ll try to nuzzlocke normal mode now.

I am playing this rn and on difficult mode (I ain't doing a nuzlocke) and I swear to God mel took my soul in difficult mode he brings out the evolution of stufful which takes 0 damage and then kills everyone with facade and low kick then lopunny which has attract and fake out so that's complete bullshit and also has facade btw and also has a FUCKING miltank which takes 0 damage I hade to use a guys swellow with secret power and hope his poke falls asleep lol there was some other pokemon but i one shot it so idk ( it was heliolisk with bulldoze -_-)
