Chapel Hill Residence is a large family home set in a forest clearing in North Carolina. It is designed to be a welcoming dwelling that reveals itself in layers.
Indoor/outdoor connections are utilized throughout the project in ways that bring in abundant natural light. Edges are smoothed, and in-between spaces become important for everyday life and highlights of the design.

Nice, your video didn't show us much of anything about the actual structure other than close ups of angles and materials.
I would think building this interesting designed house adjacent to a forest that fire protection would be a big issue.
