I own 24 certate 3000XG so to compare between 24Certate and 22Exist...Weight and bearing will be Exist...so all depand on the price....and I can say Certate will also do the Job....

@ Tks so much for sharing. Ya the price of Certate is like 40% cheaper thus was wondering if still worth to get the flagship model. Can I also ask where do you do the servicing for your Shimano n Daiwa reels?

@kokhui1561 Shimano much more easier to service and easy parts...like Daiwa u need to get Authorized dealer to do the servicing as Daiwa parts are control by daiwa or u can ger the parts from Hedgehog Studio

@ I also have Daiwa Luvias which i love for my ajing before I started shore jigging. Is an excellent finesse reel. But am concerned about the magseal and whether it lasts.

Old Vanquish are more solid than the new one to be honest..new one lots of plastic parts especially the drag knob I don't like the cheap feeling...

@ Ah, means maybe the 24 TP may be a better choice. My current reel the 20TP

Good Day Robert, the difference is the drag 15kg for sw also the drag system are internal inside the spool so offshore will be better protected. But it will all come back to what fish you targeting if u think that u require light weight a targeting 2kg to 8kg LT will also do the Job!!😊

Yes Bang betul Saltiga Body 8k 10k and 14k sama cuma spool aja lain size..Shimano Twin Power 10k and 14k same body size. Hope this will help you choose!!

Hi Mate this 2 reel are made for Salt and fresh water fishing and go back to your question this reel are 2500 and 3000 size reel so how Big is the fish that u are targeting it will depand on the line and the reel capacity. 7kg to 9kg may not be a problems but it's gona be a long Fight or u might lost the fish due to it's size. In salt water they are well performed. For the inner gear both brass kind if I am not wrong. Compare daiwa to shimano Diawa will have a bigger gear so your retrieving ratio will be more stronger that the shimano reels.

@@anglerfishermanz Yes, usually spinning reels are sized 2500 and 3000 with a drag strength of 9 kg to 10 kilos. Depand on yourself if u don't require smaller than find those 4 pcs rod u desire!! This rod are for those require smaller space.

This is a preference for some of the Angler really want it compact and Super Handy!!
