Hi. You can still buy the Extreme version. It has been slightly altered, but only experienced noses will notice that. The Extreme version has not been discontinued. Guerlain rebottled serveral times without reformulating aswell. 😉

First i loved this at the shop, bought it to add to my collection, ive done 7 spray, 😅 what a mistake!!! I went to the shop while i was in Q waiting to pay, one guy commented...whats that smell? And a couple beside me moved away 😂 i felt awful, don't do more than two sprays with this one peeps , when you spray too much, it will smell like death... anyway, i ditched the jumper straight in that washing machine 😂 and ill be taking a long break from this fragrance...

Jaipur is definitely complex. I get the old spice, and even an Eau Sauvage and Naxos vibe to it

Good to see you again, Matt. Looking forward to more content from you. I own both of these and I agree with you in your preference for Boucheron Pour Homme. I was thoroughly surprised when I recently wore Jaipur. When I first smelled it, it smelled like a just opened pack of baby diapers. Now I pick up on the notes more, and I find it much more beautiful than just diapers. 😂

Nice video! Oud is in a group all it own. I would agree, Aventas is over hyped, but that's another video. I found this fragrance because of Jacques Marie Mage . After receiving a new pair of glasses from them the most amazing smell came from opening the beautiful packaging. After writing to them they shared that they use the fragrance (did) to sent the inside of their glasses case. I immediately went to Byredo and bought a bottle. I love it to this day and find it very complex. The scent changes on me throughout the day. Even more amazing, the orginal scent I got from the leather glasses case is also different. The mix of leather adds a pine note to it. I still respray the inside of the case to this day.

on fragrantica it has been voted by majority as a masculine fragrance but some reviewers pointed out it is similar to Instant Crush and BR540 as you also mentioned here. Do you think a woman may wear it? thank you in advance great review

Hi… i will not compare oud immortel to anything else. Upon purchase (a year ago) i totally dislike this fragrance hence it stays at the back of my collections shelf. Somehow esrlier this month i tried to see whats the least reached perfume and i picked this. I kinda surprised on how my nose kinda liking it now but not to an extent its goin to be in my heavy rotation perfume. This is a unique take on freshie. Its sourness make it unique to me. I think its better on summer night kind of fragrance then during the summer heat day time. 🎉

Different note list to fragrantica. Lemon carsoman thyme vetiver patchouli and leather ?.

It's 90 degrees here in Florida, no way I'd wear this during the day here. I wear it a couple times a month but I don't love it. I feel like I smell unique and sophisticated when I wear it but it just doesn't capture me. When I'm in the mood for something similar I prefer Gucci guilty absolute, Dunhill icon absolute, Prada amber pour homme intense., Even Davidoff Zeno but Zeno only when dressed very well.

Cedrat Boise definitely out-lasts explorer by a long shot (i use both regularly) and out-projects explorer after about 30 min when the explorers bergamot fades a bit The pink pepper in the explorer is the only thing that sticks for a good while imo where Cedrat holds nearly its entire scent profile. PS. I love explorer, especially the opening. I just wish the performance was better (Combining it with CDNIM limited edition seems to kick up its performance though)

I would say this is more similar to hacivat or morning chess than aventus but I can understand why you make that comparison. Great review bro and keep grinding 💪🏽

All 3 of those are awesome. Back when I was starting out in fragrances (nearly 40 years ago), I would have loved to have those.

I love the scent of Toy Boy, but people around me certainly do not. I have been told it smells like bug spray. I honestly do get a bit of that, but I still love the scent. Great review, Matt. Much success and prosperity to you in the new year.
