Disneyland's Splash Mountain July 17, 1989 Opening Day Full Ride and Queue. Recorded on a VHS-C camcorder. I got in the queue right after the press grand opening ceremony, (see my other video). Sorry about the bad scan lines at the end of the ride. Even after wrapping my camcorder in plastic I think it got a little wet, of course. Hah!

Disneyland's Splash Mountain Opening Ceremony July 17, 1989. Recorded on a VHS-C camcorder. I headed over to watch the opening ceremony for the press from the best place I could think of... Tom Sawyer Island. Soon I was joined by about 30 other guests. This is the complete ceremony from this view including the first logs to go down the drop with characters.
