    I have all of thoes tools and love them. I can't agree more on quality 20 to 30 bucks saved here and there won't help you if you can't do your job well or one failure. I've had 3 pipe related failures because someone used a cheap husky reamer on copper and abs. If they would have bought the rigid and been more vigilant on cleaning the pipe there wouldn't have been a pro press failure or glue joint. By the way check out cabnetmakers sidekick it holds a pica pencils and a tape. Best part is I never have to take it off to drive or crawl under a house it's super slim. I can even buckle my seat belt in my toyota matrix and not get in the way (6'4 270lbs not small guy). Good stuff 👍

    Nice; looks like you can handle quite a lot. I see you have a few extra side pockets; may I suggest an inspection mirror and a magnetic pickup? The former in particular will allow you to check the backside of solder jobs. Another tool you may find useful is a set of crow's foot wrenches for sink supply lines that are up where they're hard to reach. I agree with MattHmm about a SB-LD loadout series on MM. I also agree with him about the sharkbite end caps for emergencies; need to get some myself!

    Yea I like it because it's black. That is a silly thing but not a fan of my tp3s color. That belt loop makes for great storage I always carried a icon / husky folding stick light in that loop. I find myself having many duplicates of many tools because I don't share tools between bags. I know it cost some money but in the end I don't loose them either. I almost pulled the trigger on that when acme (still may) has a promo for a free drill holder with 100 dollars in veto purchases. Time will tell if I give in but seeing 10in and 180s in there gives me perspective on what will fit. I also eith thoes bags if I don't use the clips put a parts bag on the back suspended by the d rings. It serves 2 purposes you get more storage and the weight keeps it less tippy. Thanks for rhe video!

    • @OnusBones

    I've looked at that bag online and until you see it in scale with sizes you know it's heafty. That being the smallest one looks like a great service bag I can't see something 3x as wide or taller otherwise it's bigger than a gallon bucket. Smart move on the side wrench pockets I use husky kneeling pads to set tools and lean on the cabnet to work on under sinks and not make a ton of noise. If you ever wanted to see mt bag it's on MM first reload video I rather enjoy that it's documented. I love my collapsible camp sinks/buckets for the adjustable height under p traps. I gotta ask are you a thread tape and liquid dope too or just one of thoes? One thing I noticed in any of your bags you don't carry fire resistant mats for sodering? We all wish things were open and easy to get to but most of the time people have plastic bags under there sink 😆. Last year we did a full dedicated line pex replump with a manifold. Each device had it's own shutoff someone wasn't cheap about it as well. We had a blast despite the lead rope cast unions for the vents. I feel if you go to work and don't hate it it's a win! Also does your company or if you work for yourself do you call digging crewscfor liability? Always wanted to know some of these things and I got someone to ask now.

    • @quiseplumbs
      @quiseplumbs 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s funny because I own multiple of random burn proof Matt’s off Amazon but never really showed them . And it depends tbh but most times on most thread connections imma say tape and/then dope . On the digging part ,almost everything I do is on my own right now .

    My quick bag is a sbld as well. Thoes back pockets hold alot I got a m12 surge a full multi meter coil brush zip ties spare m12 battery ect. I'm the back flap I have a full plano parts tray with consumables. I wish I wanted to soder more but in apartment maintenance it can be a liability. I carry and highly recommend for anyone any bag a 1/2 in 3/4in sharkbite cap and shutoff valve. Way to many times is corroded pipes explode you need thoes now not let me go to my van. Your not the only one I'm of rhe camp that a dedicated screwdriver is almost mandatory. I do the same with insulated as well no reason to be multi bitting 24/7. I do recommend you get a ncvt because I come across so many hot galvie and cast pipes. It seems silly but why not have something as a option to say why is this water shocking me. I see it all in 50 to 70 year old apartments and 100 year old houses you never know. I've been telling MM to do a sb-ld only loadout videos since everyone has one it seems 😆. I also recommend a rothenburg kibosh kinda expensive but it will save your bacon and it's way better than the metal repair kits they have at the home stores in emergencys.

  • @MattHmm-rq6dn
    @MattHmm-rq6dn 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Man I need to catch up. Yea alot of common things I see. Rigid pipe wrenches are still made in the usa and the price and quality shows. The rigid multi sink tool is very nice one on each work rig along with the one stop wrench they make. The one thing I wish o had was a battery press copper cutter and pex expander in m12. I don't use them enough to warrant getting them but I sure wish I did have them since I'm about 10 press fittings a month. I use a icrimp bolt cutter style manual one and it really dosent fit is all places but I'm glad I hae something so I don't have to sweat. No sharkbites unless it's temporary or emergency gushing out the wall! All my progress fittings are in a packout deep as well and it's really a great thing. Thanks for the glimpse inside.

    Quality stuff there 👏. The only thing I'd change out is thoes adjustables for bahco or even the milwaukee don't suck. The front pocket is perfect for a plumber you can easily put a torch in it even a compact butane one. If you want a good holding wrench I recommend the rigid one stop wrench. I do apartment maintenance with heavy electrical work and I know how that bag can get. I goto the 2 pannel folio in the front and the double pannel high vis orange one in the back and it's 42 to 53 lbs range. I'm not as specialized as you so I gotta be ready for alot but it's very manageable once you get use to it for thoes people who think these bags are too heavy. As for the cost what's your time worth to you time is money or sanity. Also check out "top" speed wrenches they bite as hard as cobras into old plumbing and is a great compact size. I feel bag for people that bought pipe vise when thoes top speed wrenches are half the price and made in Japan not Taiwan.
