It’s hard to understate how worthless the his video is for figuring out what’s wrong with the setup of this cot tent

Is that the camera lens cap that keeps swinging into frame as the cameraperson moves about? Really annoying. And given the direction of the light don't we think the demonstrator could have simply picked up the cot and rotated it so the gear pocket faced the light and the tent build made more sense?

Great video on set up and take down. I only had to rewind 4 times to fully appreciate your method of collapsing and storing the tent.

After I ordered a cot tent I learned that sleeping on a cot is not what my back likes! I sleep on the floor in my bedroom and I prefer sleeping on the ground on a mat.

Waterproof?

It is one of the most uncomfortable cots you can get.

I am looking for an INDOOR shelter from RFs and EMFs. I need to sleep at leasr 12 " off the apartment's floor massive EMF / dirty electriciy and grounding issues AND i need to shiled myself from EMF-microwave readiation. I'd use this set up outdoor, but will sew myself a cover, same size as the tent that reaches the floor, made of (expensive) Shielding fabric". I am glad I found your product. You have an entire new client base, after folks discover this. I'll do my part to advertise the faraday cage.

I dunno, it doesn't look too sturdy. I'd be afraid to move around too much while laying on it. It looks like it would collapse if you toss and turn too much.

This is exactly what I need even if I have to stay with someone and I would like to get a portable toilet also just trying to get the money for all that is just insane we're losing our house and I don't want to be homeless again because the text that I have is not right cuz it don't have a cot in it and that's what I'm needing everything combined together, in need of the oversized one this would be all I need to sleep in of course if I had to stay somewhere be allowed to open this up wherever I'm staying at if I get to stay anywhere if I can rent a room somewhere close by preferably!!! I swear to God I've been trying to stay for one and not have to constantly having pay almost three to four hundred dollars bills I can't afford it on my own I get no financial help at all so whoever is using my cash app please leave alone. Also I have no way of getting to any Airport. Not for any grown man to financially depend on me that's been constantly happening to where I can't even financially depend on them.

I got a china copy that is horrible it's got a bar that runs under your back, leaves you stiff and sore hobbling around like 99 year old the next day. Might as well sleep on the ground, either way it's 8 beers before the pain starts to ease. So avoid saving a few bucks and going cheap knock offs and watch out for sparks mines got a few extra ventilation holes. Haven't used this version but it's got to better than the discount china one.

Are the seats comfortable

Looks great which is why I bought one on amazon. I ordered this on amz from some bogus company out of nebraska called 'spreetail". I don't know what the scam was but they created a shipping label, charged my card and that was it. Never gave it to the carrier. When I contacted them, they said they would send me a replacement but that never happened either. Never got the tent and it took me several weeks to get my money back and I was so fed up I just modified an old full size tent to fit a coleman alum cot I already had and it works great. Probably much lighter than this and it didn't cost me anything but if I had to put byy the cot and tent, it would have been half the cost of this. I had to make some modifications of course but it wasn't that hard.

Kamp Rite cot tents work better in cooler temps and or higher elevations. Most modern tents give you more much more mesh and ventilation for warmer weather. Quality and durability good. Keeping the screens and flaps folded up and in place is a totally mess, surprised they have not fixed this issue.

Why is it not buyable anymore?

I love the design and functionality with the 4 doors, but these are rendered useless when the waterproof fly is attached. Are you able to add the 4 doors to the fly as well (mainly for air circulation) as it gets quite warm in the summer months here in Australia. I’m also thinking this is the perfect size to fit atop my roof racks on my FJ Cruiser 😜

A few things that could improve is being higher off ground. Well for the 2 person one. So your getting in and out of tent easier. Another thing would be a vent roof. So you can see the sky. Put the rain slip over for the days you need it. I'm interested in getting the 2 person setup for me and my dog. Maybe in January 2022.

That’s a sweet tent. I was considering a rooftop tent but I like this one better. 1/10th of the cost and Practically zero footprint in your suv.
