Thanks for the video. I've been using Vue for awhile and really like it. But it runs really badly on my PS3 in my bedroom. Think I'll grab the fire stick and see if that's better and if not I'll return and get the other Fire tv thing. Thanks man!

ps vue on ps3 and ps4 look nothing like full cable television. i cant stand the frame rate on both consoles it really bothers my eyes. its like console is console and cable is pc for cable tv.

This may be a silly ? But I know vue has 5streams but can ya watch 5 different programs at the same time ?

Should try kodi but you have to do your homework on what app to use for the content you want. Or just get a pre built build

I have Sling TV and Playstation Vue because I wanted to do my own simultaneous comparison between the two. I prefer the Playstation Vue based on the value I get for the money (Cloud DVR, channels, interface, etc.). There are two things that I want Sony to address. 1.The guide should be available on every device. On the Playstation 4 the guide is beautiful. On my Roku devices there really is no guide per se. 2. Sony should work out the contracts with my local TV stations. I reside in one of the largest cities in Texas and the only local channel I get now is Telemundo. In smaller markets in Texas Sony has contracts to show the local ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox affiliates. I use USTVNOW to watch ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox live. This way I can watch NFL and all of the primetime shows but I do not get my local news. USTVNOW is free and there is no need to put up an unsightly antenna in your home. Thanks for sharing.

Great video, If someone is just starting out with Vue, the Fire tv is the way to go. Not only because of the ability to skip, but you get so much more content just by using the Networks apps along with your Vue credentials.

this even runs good on a Roku.......i love the service

I was looking to do a video like this but didn't have a PS4 to do it with, only PS3, Fire Stick and Fire TV 4k, If I had one comment, you really should have shown the performance difference while browsing through the guide, the guide really shows how big a gap there is between the Stick and fire TV box. Personally even though the PS4 is faster I prefer the Fire TV 4k because of the 10 second skips using the navigation buttons, I find it a MUCH better way to fast forward through commercials, which is important because I almost always watch the DVR episodes over the live broadcasts.
