Kakimoto Regu 06&R + Fujitsubo EL Downpipe R32 GTR
มุมมอง 6K8 ปีที่แล้ว
Quick sound clip of my current exhaust setup. Ported OEM manifolds, HPI dump pipes, FGK equal length downpipe, test pipe, and Kakimoto Regu 06&R catback. Don't mind the excessive smoke, bad turbos which have been replaced.
Nissan Skyline R32 GTR Walk-Around

Quick vid of how the car sits now. Had it since 2010, 1st Canadian owner, and was almost stock when I got it. Put in a lot of work since then.
Darkhearted R32 GTR Roars Back to Life.. kinda
มุมมอง 2.6K8 ปีที่แล้ว
First start after a 3 month long project that was supposed to take a couple of weeks. Car started beautifully but then the rear turbo sprang a massive oil leak which is why the video got cut short. New for this build: Nismo turbos with HKS wastegates Head refresh - exhaust runners ported, deck resurfaced, cleaned, new valve stem seals, reshimmed. Tomei 260/9.15 intake cam JUN 254/9.15 exhaust c...

R32 GTR Kakimoto R Exhaust Clip

Kakimoto R catback exhaust, Apex'i filters, everything else is stock. 'Before' video for custom downpipe, high flow cat, and Power FC install.
It is a good setup but honestly. The real question is...Does it Drone!? Also I recognize your car anywhere with those Red Accents!
thank you, sir! There is a certain low RPM (around 1500 iirc) that hits the resonance frequency of the exhaust and is further intensified by my CS rear motor mount. Outside of this range, there's no drone.
Whered you get the headlights?
They usually come free when you buy the car.
Them are stock headlights
They come free when you buy the car.
Hi, whats the paint you're rocking on your mazda? Im willing to buy one but im torn between snowflake white pearl and ceramic white. Mazda's 3 look beautiful in white
There’s only one white color for the 3😂😂😂
mazda 3 AWD????? :O what?
All the Turbo cars are AWD.
why is the bird skeleton there
@@turtleman2564 LOL it was the only thing I could find to mount my microphone 🤣 it's actually being used in every scene, just hidden in some.
@@louis110 worked pretty well for a mount 🤣exhaust sounds good tho, the bov sounds really good for just an intake
Class! Is that the version with the centr box? Stainless system I'd imagine?
Good eye! Center box, cat delete, HPI turbo elbows, ported exhaust ports, ported OEM manifold. Great street manners below 4000 rpm, screams at WOT.
Cool video and also what's the ending video song??

What stage is this
Man how did you get such clear rear lenses. Mine seem murky red not very see through :(
Just luck of the draw. I had a 4B condition car.
I realise that this was posted a while ago but how did you manage to get the red lens off without warping / disfiguring it?
Lots of patience! Some people recommend using an oven, but I used a heat gun at low-medium heat, continuously picking the lens until it came loose.
@@louis110 Thanks. I guess that I must have been impatient. I scorched one lens but was able to remove with wet sanding. So I tried heating in the oven at a low heat which melted the glue but the lens collapsed and lost its convex shape.
@@robzilla32 what heat and how long did you let them sit for? currently in the process of this and wondering if i should just get a heat gun
@@blooooodbag Hi. I ended up soaking them in very hot water and getting it progressively hotter. Close to boiling. It took a long time but was worth it in the end as they came apart with virtually no damage
Rob Zilla32 how long per assembly? About 15 minutes?
test pipe?
Actually a high flow cat installed at the time. My new setup is test pipe.
by any chance ull upload a vid with the test pipe with this exhaust? plz let me kno thanks!
Ditch the resistors and go with LED relays.
Thanks for the video! Where'd you get that exhaust plug?
Bailey Brewer it's just a "remove before flight" keychain hooked onto a ball of steel wool haha.
LOL! Thanks man.
Did you put any new adhesive when installing the red lens back to the housing or just use the original glue? Any issues so far? I'd like to do this plus a LHD Morimoto projector for mine.
Jesse Apodaca actually that's a good question. the first time I just used the original sealant and water got into one of the panels and shorted it out. I had to redo that one side but added more sealant from Retrofit Source. make sure not to lay it on too thick otherwise you'll have a hard time pressing the lens back in.
Are you planing a projector retrofit from retrofit? I've been researching it but can't find a direct fit without mangling the original headlight. Customer service at retrofitsouce doesn't have much info yet. Thanks for your info.
Jesse Apodaca I was thinking about it but I'm going to find a professional to retrofit the headlight. There's a shop in canada called winnipeghid.ca that is familiar with the R32. They might be able to help you out.
Awesome video. This is step by step should be done. I have parts from Sam also. Enjoy!
Thanks! Sam's stuff is getting a lot more popular now, so hopefully this video helps his future customers.
nice install :)
ItsCardo1987 thanks Ricardo!
name of song for the first two minutes? I know it's gangstarr but it's a remix. dope video by the way. did you also buy the controller and if so which one? thinking about buying a set as well but am thoroughly intimidated by this project lol
Stephen Trieu thanks. good ear! it's a oll-zen remix off a majestic casual album. I got one of the earlier versions of the lights so no controller to make it do all sorts of crazy things. just follow the steps in the video and take your time. it's not bad at all. once you get going you'll have it done in no time. I did the project over a few days.
give it a hit you flower
Very nice, sounds exactly like a skyline should! What turbos were you running when you did this test?
NELKEL GTR VLOGS thank you! Had installed rebuilt Nismo N1s but clearly a bad rebuild. Just had Garrett -5s installed.
That's awesome, I'm also looking at doing the 2860 -5's next year, may I ask what ECU you are running?
Properly mint, nice one bro!!!
✌
Hey another question what steering wheel is that ?
it's a Nardi deep corn 330mm!
Absolutely beautiful!
thanks!
K thanx man it looks nice i saw your walk around video its a clean car arent those seats discontinued?
I think the seats are still available but I haven't been keeping up with the latest market trends
What seats are in the car ?
Bride Euro II my friend. you can see them a bit better if you watch my walk around video
that looks awesome! im super jealous of you. quick question for you though. are you in the military?i saw your cami sleeve and it looked like there was a remove before flight tag on your exhaust. just wondering
Thanks! I'm in the Canadian Air Force.
+Ron L dang man i cant get over those lights! way better than the incandescent ones. the reason why i ask was because im in the united states air national guard. i could spot a "remove before flight" tag anywhere. lol
+aron finley yeah I really love them. really makes the car stand out from the rest of the Skylines. Go Air Force!
those tail lights are so siiiick
thanks! zleds hooked me up.
that is a 100% improvement... i always hated how dim they oem lights were. how much did this all cost?
it starts at $325 usd before options.
this is how every exhaust video should be like!
