The North Face - 1996 Retro Nuptse Down Jacket - Boysenberry - Review
Hello folks!
Today I have a very special review, a North Face 1997 Retro Nuptse jacket. It's in the color Boysenberry, and I selected it because it stands out and is unique. I bought it in size XL and it fits loosely, yet still able to feel comfortable when I wear a layer underneath like a sweatshirt. If you want a closer fit, try true to size. My aim is to wear this throughout the fall/winter season, and I'll match it with ball caps and sneakers. Overall I would give a recommendation as a protective winter layer.

When you first got it, did it take many tries to zip the jacket at the bottom? I just got mine but it takes 5-7 tries to properly zip at the bottom, wondering if mine is defective

Hey, im from Germany, can't say If our Jackets have the same measurements but with the Corefit i could use my "normal" size. The Ma-1 TT for Exemple (Slim Fit) needs one up. I have an Original CWU 36/P Men's Summer (Worn by a Chief Warrant Officer II CW2 of the 2nd Infantry Division) made from pure Aramid and the measurements are almost exactly the same (both in Large). Only the Overall lenght is bit longer but the CWU is very short, so i Like the little longer fit. Btw i am 180Cm Tall with only 70kg weight. Sry If my English sucks:p
@@Bnooism Thanks so much for the response. I ordered an XXL Corefit and it was fine in the chest but very short in the body and arms. I have now ordered a VF59 Long in 3XL as recommended by Alphas customer team when I contacted them. Hopefully it fits!!!

For what it’s worth, the sleeves look like very typical Carharrt fit to me. I’m sure you’ve gotten it plenty broken in by now. Should serve you just fine for some time to come. Nice review👍

this is the oversized modern look but going one size down will defo give the classic look. and it will still be baggy since the style of the jacket is that style by default.

Throughout time I have bought this model jacket 3 times. With every generation of production they're cutting more corners and is less special than before Just another company that only cares about increasing profits even if it affects the quality
