Who's here in 2024 ??💃🕺🥁😎👌🎸
First video I’ve ever saw of Jimmy Reed.
Probably been asked a thousand times in these comments but please don't be mad at me what kind of guitar is he playing
Eddie Taylor is playing an Gibson ES-5 and Jimmy Reed is playing an Airline Resoglass.
That was a real nice introduction
❤👍👍👍👍👍❤
Love John Johnson songs
Are they out of tune or is it just me?
This is the TBirds. Accept no substitutes...
What a great great album!
One of the very few films of Jimmy performing RUINED by those flashing lights behind him..
Singing in heaven!! 😊❤❤❤
Hot stuff😊
Very beautiful!😎
Little Walter could play that harp , like nobody in the blues scene would dream of !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Koko Taylor , was one of the strongest voice's in the blues , straight & simple !!!!!
Maaan, Ko Ko Taylor was a pretty lil sweet thang as pretty as can be. She could sing too. I was blessed to see and be around these artists as a young musician. I lived in Bakersfield during the early 1960s. Blues artists visited the town every week end. It was wonderful being a young kid who was blessed to grow up around them. I wish I could do it again, I wouldn't change a thing.
That was awesome,
Fabulous song by a vastly underrated musical talent !!! Enjoy and feel the positive vibrations ! Happy birthday Maggie and Molly !
I see Jimmy one time and I don't like It. That video make me change opinion. Great Jimmy, his rock feeling are amazing
Great video! I have only one critique. For some reason, Jimmie Vaughan's guitar is way too low in the mix! Not when he solos, but when he's playing rhythm behind the harp and vocals. The harp and drums are where they should be, but Ferguson's bass is booming, and Vaughan's rhythm guitar can't be heard!
Keef Ferguson sighting
This is exemplary for anyone to hear where the harp should be in the mix of a blues band! Too many sound men in clubs, engineers in studios, and even other musicians often don't have a clue! As a harp player myself, I get sick of hearing all these people tell me to dial it down, while the rest of the band is loud as shit, and the harp is getting buried underneath it all!
KICK ASS!
A KILLER band they were back then! Got to see this lineup in Houston and Austin a good number of times back in the day. Thank you for this upload.
Damn had no idea Ron Jeremy could sing and play harmonica!
This is the 1969 AFBF.
I worked in a record store when t bird rhythm came out.. their timing could not have been better.. people were starved for something they could relate to and dance to.. what a band
Happy anniversary Molly and Dan ! Thank you JOHNNY !! peace and love to all!
It's a shame that those artists where ignored in their home country.
Gone were the days of Mike Buck
❤The good old days of Soap Creek Saloon
THAT'S GUITAR WATSON ON THE PIANO YALL IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW.COME MERE PIANO
Little Walter was a musical genius
THANK YOU
Stones! Lol
Kim use to wear a turbin when he first hit Austin Texas, great frontman and harmonica player , Jimmy was great, Keith Ferguson played a heavy bass , Fran kept the rhythm going, great band, love Jimmy doing The Crawl
This dude is messing the blues greats up my😊 😊
Shut up an let them play
Eddie Taylor ❤
they had a friday saturday night residency at my grandfather MICKEY'S scotch bar in Chicago
This LP is textbook blues playing.
Is that drummer asleep?
What happened to these guys?
Mettono allegria
Camera man needs firing . The only film of Jimmy live and we can't see what he playing on the guitar
just saw Bob Dylan cover this on 3/5/24 in Clearwater, Fl
Keith was the best bass player I have ever heard live..I`ve played classical guitar for over 50 years...have never heard anyone play the bass like him.
I agree 100%
Get that psychedelic graphics shit outta here! Geez... Music to pound down barbecue to!
listening to Jimmy Reed while having your morning coffee is a great way to start your day
