The Hanlon brothers of Excelsior Henderson fame made replicas of these types of motorcycles bolt for bolt copies. About 20 or 25+ years ago for$13,000. Now new ones would be$30,000 . Like the kiwi indian company that makes brand new ones made to order. But with electric starter,disc brakes, your choice of sheet metal etc. Not in business anymore. Might find one for sale.

Not much of a difference from today’s Harley’s.

You really can see the DNA of these Ancient Engines in the new modern motorized bicycles like the China doll 2 strokes and the Honda CG160 and the older bridge and Stratton motors It would certainly be a challenge to make a some what great replica of one of these, especially with the modern bicycle parts, being as brutal as they are, you would have to do some homework on what you wanted for it. But these modern motors sound good and can run really good if setup right. I would be hesitant to mess around with some of those antique bikes because of how rare they are and valuable.

wow that thing is cool he was getting on it. that bike can go pretty fast for a early Harley design it looked about 28-30 MPH which is about what I can do down hill on my new trek bike 2022 27x3.0 tires. I think Harley should bring the 1911 Harley back and make it a good moped like the Honda super Cub but with American style just using modern engine design and better suspension getting that thing up to 45-50 MPH you could use it for trail riding or work. (;
