One more question about your Rimowa Cabin S... Could you tell me the "width" of the top of the telescoping handle? I am trying to determine if a trolley bag or briefcase will easily slip over the handle. Greatly appreciate your review of the suitcase, and support with my questions! Dave
@@daviddelasala8949 oh. I missed out on your question. The answer to your question is around 7inches or 18cm.
What is the true / measured height of the Cabin S (including the wheels)? The Rimowa website states 21.7"... Does that include the wheels per the actual measurements?
@@daviddelasala8949 i just measured it. It includes the wheels and the handle that rests on its side.
@@raphyde So the length is just under 22" in total, and should be compliant with many airlines carry-on specs. Thank you!

Hi Raphyde, thanks for the detailed review. I live in Sg too and was thinking whether should I get the Cabin or Cabin S. I have many friends told me that although the Cabin size is bigger than most airlines carry-on baggage allowance but usually they dont check the dimension. What is your advise on this and why did you pick the Cabin S?
@@all999n Hello! Thanks for this question. Technically, Cabin S is the standard carry on for most of the airlines. As what you noticed, here in Asia, they don’t check the luggage that much. I initially planned to buy cabin, but when I saw that there is Cabin S, i fell in love with the sleek design. It is a matter of choice. Here are some key points why I bought the Cabin S 1. Sleek design, slimmer, 2. can fit inside my Rimowa Original check In Medium - been to a few countries where I place the cabin S inside the check in medium and just check it in, then come back with 2 luggage. 3. No need to worry about the dimensions when in Europe or US. Some airlines there are strict about carry on, so I just stay safe by selecting the approved dimensions. 4. Can fit under my bed perfectly. Can even fit some lockers in hostels or lockers in the mall. 5. I also bought it so I wont overpack. Usually it stays within the 10kg or less. Everytime I use it for carry on. It usually just 8-9kg or sometimes 10-11 if heavy. Again it depends on your needs. If you dont wanna worry about how strict the airlines are then go for Cabin S. If you need more carry on space, then go for Cabin. If ur just travelling mostly in the region, no one checks it.

Inner sole is not hard. Just alright. But i can tell its not soft. Its like wearing leather shoes with no socks on. The nice part is it is open so ur feet can breathe

Of course!! I love it! It holds well. Tho i dont use it as an everyday bag, i use it as an errands bag, travel carry-on bag, staycation bag.. lol. It is living to my expectations!

Hmmmm… when it comes to cutting/style, this is a signature of Hermes so you wont see it in another brand. However, if you want a decemt slides, you can go for gucci. If you want a bit cheaper, off-white is also nice. But their styling is different. Hermes is sleek.
Every goyard don't come with box?
Hello.. from what I know, they only come with dustbag. I dont have a lot of Goyard too so I cannot tell. Hehe. But this bag that I bought hust comes with a dust bag and paperbag only.

Are the extra shoe strings cleaner?
Hello there. The extra shoe strings are in different color, its green. And its clean. To be honest, I haven’t changed the strings yet. Im still using the beige. Lol
I feel like the fabric is quite flimsy and soft, I was quite surprised. Was expecting a tougher construction.
It is not like the Louis Vuitton Neverfull, the Louis Vuitton or Faure Le Page are the brands that has tougher construction when it comes to tote bags. I just like flimsy and soft thats why i go for Goyard. :)
Other models like Anjou and the other same like St Louis but with zipper are structured versions of this shape. St Louis was designed to be flimsy for lightiness as it is meant to be a beach bag.
