Does anyone remember Officer Amy Caprio's death while they attended the school, how it was on lockdown until all the parents picked up their kids? If anyone could find all the interviews after that happened that would be great.

j turns are stupid. You have to cross over lanes of traffic 2 times to get to where you want to be. And you still need to do the same even if you just cross the road. This solves nothing.

4 years later and still nothing. Maryland loves taking people's money and giving hard working people absolutely nothing. If I sat around and did absolutely nothing I'd be given everything, but as a person that has to commute every day into DC I got an overpass in Brandywine that eliminated 2 lights, and then they added another light at the intersection down the hill improving nothing.

only a government can put 2 circles in a straight line and say it flows better, come on people, do better with our revenues. If anything Maryland and Virginia need to put their heads together and build a bridge from Indian head Md to Woodbridge Va. It's ridiculous to drive up 210NB to 495 cross the W.W. bridge and go to the Springfield Interchange to get to 95 south and vise vera🤦🏿‍♂️...sometimes I wonder if that idea was on the books once upon a time 🤷🏿‍♂️

Ramp meters are a proven method of regulating traffic flow along extremely busy sections of highway, during the 30+ years they have been used in various U.S. cities. They also have the added benefit of keeping traffic flowing on the surface streets which the on-ramps connect to. Ramp meters prevent traffic jams, because they allow mainline traffic to keep moving at its normal speed rather than having to jam on the brakes to let in an avalanche of cars which are coming down the ramp to merge. People who are opposed to these have no clue whatsoever about traffic dynamics or traffic waves. Which would you rather have...? Speeds going 50 MPH then 0 MPH, 50 MPH then 0 MPH, or a constant 25 MPH? I would rather keep a steady 25 MPH, and that's what ramp metering achieves.

I'm seeing this video, doesn't make a sense the DHSMV to say bobtail will be longer to stop than a heavy loaded trailer ( I know about the traction, but if you're lower weight, less height, was suposed to stop in a shorter distance than coupled

That is about the silliest thing I've seen. There is no reason for an intersection to be complicated. Continuing to waste money, as usual. Wonder who's cousin is getting paid for that design.

Why do people in the right lane have to slow down to allow the ramp traffic to merge? Last time I checked, YIELD meant that the ramp traffic has to wait for a safe area to merge in at highway speed. Traffic already on the highway should not have to slow down at all. Yet another "spoon fed" solution to a problem that wouldn't exist if people knew how to drive.
