Samui Elephant Haven is a beautiful and ethical sanctuary for elephants rescued from types of elephant exploitation practices including trekking, performing in circuses, logging, and street begging.
Lush Koh Samui jungles envelop our sanctuary which sits proudly atop undulating hills and commands impressive views over the Gulf of Thailand and Koh Phangan. We provide a safe home to a remarkable herd of rescued elephants.
Founder of Samui Elephant Haven, Maew Suriya, ensures that the rescued elephants are now free to roam through the haven and can express their natural instincts through play and interaction by foraging for native plants and bathing in the various pools throughout the 60 rai sanctuary.
