Walking Around Waterfront Pontianak (Segmen Bardan Nadi - Senghie)
In early 2023, Pontianak City Government (Pemkot Pontianak) has inaugurated this promenade. The waterfront has a length of more than 500 meters stretching from Jalan Bardan Nadi to the Senghie Port. This area is also well known as Central Market, was once a centre of trade and service in town and the activities are still ongoing today. Thus, the arrangement of the riverbank is expected to be able to glorify the central market that once exist rather than merely structuring the river as a frontage.
