Hi Paul, I can see you have a wealth of knowledge, which I am interested in knowing as I venture into my own clinical business. I can’t help feeling like this was a lot of trumpet blowing, I hope to see more information on your channel
Thanks Paul
Hi paul! Thanks for the video! I graduated from Pharmacy school and have worked in Pharmaceutical company as a QP in non EU country now for more than 2 years.(it means i am not from EU😅) I'd like to be a QP in EU. What should I do or prepare to be a QP in EU? And if i get a certificate of QP then i can work in anywhere as a QP in EU? How i could get a certificate of QP?
Hi @ericnam4537 the first thing you will need is to look into how you gain eligibility to work in the EU. Then you will need to have your degree verified as equivalent to an EU degree, in EU (not UK) it must be a Pharmacy degree, in some cases its Masters and others Bachelors depending on the country, more require Masters than Bachelors. When this is verified apply for a position as a QP, its likely they will want you to join as a trainee then after initial training and acceptance they should promote you to be a QP and be named on the licence provided your experience is accepted, otherwise you will need to complete 1 year in post. In the UK its different you have a choice of degree, Pharmacy, Biology and Chemistry which will need to be verified again plus post graduate training, you have to join the relevant professional body and submit an application to be eligible to be a QP then take the Viva then apply for a position as a QP to be named. If you have further questions please let me know.
Thank you for your reply! I know there are some qualification requirements for being QPs and one of them is working experience in pharmaceutical company. So is it necessary to work in the company in QC or production fields before being QPs? And don't you think that it isn't enough to have that minimum working experience in QC or Production team to carry out QP's duties?
Hi Paul. Great video!! I was wondering if you could give a break down of what "professions" or "roles" exist within QA/QC/RA in the pharma/biotech industry? So for example, I know there are QC Managers or QA Managers, but I wondered what the hierarchy of a QC department is like, and what roles tend exist.
Thank you very much paul for simple explanation of quality control and quality assurance.
I have a midterm tomorrow for the GMP course, I find it a bit complicated 😢
Hi Paul, really informative video. I am a UK based pharmacist looking to become a QP, I would really appreciate some advice on how one would go about it. thanks!
Hi @shaylenpatel402 you will need a sponsor, a QP in the same professional body as you. A company normally to help get the experience you need, then complete the application pass the Viva and apply for a role as QP. If you need more help let me know

Managing change in teams requires leaders to be proaactive
I agree Matt, leaders need to be proactive. There's more to change than leaders and leadership. Culture has a significant impact too. For example, if the company culture belittles those who try they will stop trying. In contrast ifbthose who make the effort are supported and mentored, helped when they get something wrong then the organization will support the leaders.
Trend analysis helps companies identify potential opportunities or risks before they become costly issues down the road.
In order to successfully manage change within a team, it's important to first identify the source of the change.
