That's a Grumman Mallard flying boat. One of the largest still in use, apart from some firefighting types. Great video guys! I'm staying there for the first time in a few months and your footage has me very excited :)

Just a nitpick, but I knew of a wheatbelt designation in WA (mainly because a few well-known footballers and cricketers come from the area). I'm not sure how many people will immediately know that it's just east of Perth in WA.

Just discovered your channel. Thanks for sharing. We fly BC these days. Ive got a 6'7 hubby. Usually we fly Qantas domestically but this has made me rethink this. Just wish they had IFE. You said it was busy at the airport. All the fifo guys coming home. Planes landing nearly every minute. Sat and counted them while waiting. Trying to get to the Virgin terminal on a wed night is a nightmare. I do it every 2 weeks. Total grid lock.

Aspire lounge is dreadful I fly this airline twice a month the flights depend on the staff there is no continuity of service that is a shame
