As lovely as your explanation sounds, I have to say NOPE. The idea that my toxic family is a mirror of my negative traits does not resonate. It is true that transcendence of the pain and wounding was my goal, but the family was not a gift to me. I AM THE GIFT to my toxic family. I AM THE CYCLE BREAKER. I AM THE HEALER. It is my goodness that qualified me to enter the Frey in order to break the chains of human bondage. Dirty work performed by a being of Light and Love. There are many of us who infiltrated the darkness of this world to shine our light and live an authentic life, leading by example.

I am grateful I was born in dysfunctional family, if not I would have not grown into spiritually and strong human. Not just family even friends & relationships, today I am working on healing myself, started tarot and healing modules to help other souls. After a Christmas Day with the toxic person at my table I needed to see this. I can appreciate the work me and my siblings are doing to break the cycle.

God had me to write down everything that my father ever did and said to me. As I wrote everything down and then reread it the pain started to lose its power. I went to church the first Sunday of October and during praise and worship I felt a break in my spirit and God let me know that I was free of the pain thank you Jesus ❤

If I had to do it over again, I would be born in a family who listened and supported me with love and humor. I am not happy about being a "chosen one". I know they were in pain and took it out on me but there were several other siblings who were treated better. I won the 9th grade Science Fair out of 93 contestants. Me, the kid who was not from an elite family. Yup. I walked home and told my mother I won, and she insisted that I was lying. I would have done better with a family who was happy for me. This is a small example of the many scenarios of discounting me. It didn't matter that I have a High IQ off the charts or that I was shockingly good looking. Oh no. None of that mattered to them. So, for me, I would have been happier without them.

I grew up with an alcoholic father who always neglected me and a mother who always took her out on my order sister, practically abused and verbally abused out of anger. I thought that was normal until I got older. I know that nothing was my fault, I'm nothing like that except that I feel alone. I'm just completely different from them and I just want to live my life without them sucking me back in the dark. This was an eye opener and thank you so much 🙏❤

Toxic Mother, movéd 4000 miles away and lived my life. Never accepted my decision ignored my son and only on her death bed showed any interést. Too late by then. She passed 1 year ago and fell free 100%..

It took me almost 60 years to work it out how lucky I actually was. I have a strength and a confidence now that I would not have had. In today's world he would be in jail, but it's certain that you are not better off in the 'care' system. At last peggings, none of us are any better than anyone else, we all have behaviour and decisions to answer for. We're just the best people we can be at the time.

Though it all makes sense intellectually but your broken shattered heart never recovers completely. When you are all alone with no friends or family, when you don’t even know what it feels like to be loved and cared for by another human being, when all you have seen your entire life is hatred and ridicule, when you feel scared and awkward to face the world cause of all the shame and guilt, then how do you erase and forget all that and be ok with it. Yes this experience taught me to very strong mentally and made me read and learn about spirituality, consciousness universal laws and connect to God. But all this happened intellectually my heart still bleeds, craves for love and approval. The emotional pain and the wounds getting deeper and deeper. Every day of life is a struggle in this world. But yes my mental and intellectual growth has been phenomenal which I am unable to put to use cause of my shattered heart and the emotional trauma. I am unable to escape this deep trauma and want to leave this world peacefully

I am just wondering since I decided to go to therapy for my eating disorder.. Maybe that is breaking a family chain. Because my mom and dad were very broken when they got together. Neither one of them felt like they needed to get help. They should have but didn't. So I am doing it because I don't want to be that way ever again! I want to heal from all the toxic garbage that they threw on me as a small child. 🤔🤔🤔
