“I recorded this cover of Children of Bodom’s version of Rebel Yell by Billy Idol for fun. Guitar is always fun for me. I purposely used a George Lynch model guitar because he’s an 80’s icon. I replaced the guitar tracks with my own and rewrote both guitar solos. I woke up with what I slept in and tracked along a play through which is low in the mix for this little video. Cotton Bros had some rad footage so I included it. I hope nobody is offended by making out. Male/female, male/male, female/female, it doesn’t matter. Love is love and music is universal. Hope you enjoy this and if not, here’s a fist bump and a hug! “

Thanks! Zakk Wylde set 81/85 in an early 2000 (late 90’s?) Epiphone Les Paul which is really heavy so I feel like the EMGs combined with the weight of the guitar give it a focused midrange.

Might’ve had a bad one. Quick story. Had this friend who bought high-end equipment. I played his Gibson Les Paul. The oiled ebony fretboard was awesome until the frets started sliding out of their slots as I played it. I’m like “Bro! Your guitar is falling apart!” Cosmetically, it was amazing but no … I’d rather my hot-rodded Epi for like almost 1/4 of the price. Guitars all depend. Just have to try them. Some right out say Deans suck but I have Deans & they’re amazing. All the best Metal brother!

I talked to Jon D for a bit cuz he n Matt we’re at the merch booth. Jason Bittner - what a killer drummer. Yeah man, SF all the way!!! Fire In The Sky is a masterpiece too. Every song is killer.
