I generally use 1.5mm stretch magic cord for the bigger beads. You just have to be sure to pull the cord very tight and tie enough knots in the cord to secure it. You can also burn the end, or put glue on them. Here is the link to purchase the Stretch Magic: amzn.to/3XAyvRG
