As you know, TH-cam and gaming content on TH-cam has been devolving recently and the old style of gaming content has been losing compatibility with the algorithm, my style, the style of videos I intended on making back in 2015/2016 and the reason I started TH-cam in general have just fallen off the platform in favor of sensory stimulation and content farms. It's hard to get motivation on TH-cam to create content due to this, when I don't have the time or the money to invest into it, and especially if the gaming community keeps selling out to stupid mobile games and the pc games that are created aren't innovating and aren't geared towards my style of content.
Recently I've been just reflecting on the changes that have occurred in my life over the past 4/5 years with the pandemic, the internet, and the world in general. It's just become very scary to see what the internet and media have become, it's essentially become a game of child exploitation in order to make advertiser dollars, which I can't say I didn't see coming but it just happened so quickly. I see this change happen so often it's practically inevitable. A small indie company or thing creates something that people really enjoy and that's mostly because they spent time, money, and actually cared about it, then the company or thing starts to devote time into making it profitable over everything else, which causes the quality to decline and just lose the magic it had when it was created in the first place. I expect it to happen with everything that I like now.
So what's next? I don't know, I might never upload to this channel again, maybe I'll do a few videos when I feel like it, maybe I'll try to really put time and effort into it and make something out of it, I doubt it, but I don't really have anything else to do.
Also fuck TH-cam, my channel was hacked a while ago and the hackers posted a video to my channel vicariously that was promoting a scam. Obviously, someone hacking my channel and posting a video without my knowledge or consent is a terrifying thought, so I made the mistake of contacting TH-cam for help. I spent hours describing my exact situation to the TH-cam support, I even looked into the legal code and relating lawsuits to this and wrote a brilliant essay to ask for help. TH-cam saw my complaint, didn't read it at all, and just struck down my video. Now I have a community guidelines strike for something I didn't do, had no part in, and if I get two more of those, my channel, and all of my content will be taken down permanently. Fuck TH-cam, fuck everybody who has ever worked for them, fuck all of the content farms who promote scams everyday and get away with it, fuck all of the people who read those claims and/or the robots who do it for them, fuck them. I will never be contacting them for help ever again, their "help" is the exact opposite of what the definition of help is, it should be called "TH-cam hurt" because that's all it is, fuck them.
