Tamiya will re release the Holiday Buggy 87 times before we get a Dynastorm or a 959. So sick of Tamiya. My last 4 cars have been associated CC, 40th RC10, pre-order RC 10t (coming next month) and Yokomo 870c. And just before that Kyosho with the prototype mid and JJ ultima. Tamiya is slacking so bad. Another 2011 Avante... 🙄 Why? We bought it 2011. Most people that want them, have them. I just don't understand what they could be thinking. And kyosho is doing the ultima pro. Don't have that yet but I definitely want it. Someday I'll post videos of the whole collection. It's item 7004 on the to do list. Sorry for the rant friend. Nice buggy. You did a wonderful job finishing it. Very clean. 👍

What a little beast, with a 540, bearings and whatever, nothing Tamiya has comes close in that price range and no crappy solid rear axle. I cut the guards off mine for a meaner look
Caught a moment in between rain showers for a short run. It drives very well. Like you said very good for the price.

Best thing you can do to the Holliday buggy is a 540 conversion. I put a 15t motor in mine and it absolutely rips on the dirt and grass

One of my favorite RC’s.
I like the looks.
It is a nice little buggy with loads of potential. Some oil filled dampers and a fast motor and it becomes a rocket that drives really well. Even with the Sport Tuned motor it will be a lot of fun. The rear is going to hop around a lot but it still drives well and is a fun one. I like the black rook and the diamond earing, nice touches!
It will be fun to see it out running around.

The truck looks awesome! The flat bed is really cool and it fits perfectly on there. Some side boxes for under the bed and an R&L Hauling logo on the door and it is perfect! I love the added details you put on it, great job!!

Awesome 💪 I was aware these were good to wheelie, sort of like the Wild Wheelie jeep but these are 4WD. But how did you get it to endo up on the front wheels? Is that brakes? Never seen that before except on a monster truck and that's usually going in reverse 👍
Just the standard Hobby wing 1060 in it. Just driving like usual. It is really an under rated kit. Lots of fun!

This is an original Tamiya kit with the original decals. For decals on other things I get them from MCI racing

Hello! Is it possible to fit tires a little larger than the stock ones, this in order to raise the chassis off the ground in order to avoid scratches?
I am not an expert, but I believe anything is possible with time, hard work and a little cash.

We had a better shop in Kelowna in the 1980's and 90's that had stuff on release and all the hop ups and the most knowledgeable owner that I've met in my life. Really miss him. Would love to track him down and find out his pre-internet sources.
