I absolutely loved Celeste NG’s everything I never told. She’s such a brilliant writer. I’m currently reading A little life and I’m utterly destroyed but in a good way. My favourite book of 2024.

I will be adding the piano lesson. a raisin in the sun, will, ace of spades, the cancer journals, and I have read beloved, jazz. passing, becoming, thicker than water, their eyes were watching god and finding me. Those last two are my favorites. Finding Me was soooo powerful and Their Eyes are Watching God was that book for me!! I loved everything about it.🖤

Great recommendations. Especially the autobiographies, which are often overlooked by vloggers.

I have Met President Obama when he attended Columbia University I didn't know him as President Obama i met him when he was a student at Columbia. We met in the health food stores where I sometimes shopped.

She attended Columbia University in the early 40 and late 50s Langston Hughes was also attending Columbia University at that time.

Finding Me by Viola Davis was my favorite audiobook last year. It’s incredible. The Crossover by Kwame Alexander was my favorite book I read last year. I don’t know if you like to read middle grade/poetry, but his are worth a try, whether you like basketball or not. It wrecked me. 😭 Thank you for these! Adding several to my tbr. I love second chance romances too. 🖤🖤🖤

I loved Viola Davis’ autobiography. I listed to it via audiobook. Loved it so much I got it as a physical copy. I also enjoyed Michelle Obama. I loved how she explained how she really didn’t want to be in politics. LOOOVVVEEDDD Will Smith’s the audio was the best way to read it!!! I think I really enjoy reading autobiography’s via audiobook.

I just finished Toni Morrison's Song of Solomon and got my hands on Beloved at the thrift shop. I absolutely loved Song of Solomon. I did not think that it would match The Bluest Eye but I have a feeling everything Morrison writes holds up to this divine standard she has crafted. Caleb Azumah Nelson and James Baldwin are next for me at the moment, but I feel an urgency to read all of these. Thank you so much for sharing!!!

Hi Rebecca! It's refreshing to see you and your content. I enjoyed the list of books you compiled for BHM. I have read their eyes were watching God by Zora Neale Hurtson, a long time ago. Before I let go and long shot by Kennedy Ryan were masterpieces. I have also read Seven days in June by Tia Willams. I am waiting to buy her new novel (A love for song for Ricki wilde.) I did listen to Will by Will smith. I enjoyed Viola Davis's finding me. (In fact, my profile pic has her book cover...) I do plan on adding Toni Morisson's books on my TBR.🖤🖤🖤🤎

Not only you're Canadian like me, (I live in Ottawa) but the kind of books you read all sound like the books I have read and will read. I love historical fiction. Add slave narratives, and I'm sold. Although I do not only read historical fiction, but it is also the genre that I will always gravitate towards the most. I also find you eloquent and concise. Omg I’m 16 and I finished all the books except conclave and I’ve read punk 57. Yeah these books are dark but good as well. I loveeee killswitch and hideaway the best. And I HATED corrupt and Micheal. My favorite horsemen is Damon, cuz he just needs a hug, he not that bad.. I love him. He’s just a broken boy.

Soo I just recently read this (ik 2 years later after this video lmao) my favorite order of this series goes, Corrupt, Kill Switch, Hideaway, Nightfall, Order of the guys, Damon, Michael, Will, Kai, Oder of the Girls, Winter, Rika, Banks, Emory, Order of couples, DamonWinter, MichaelRika, WillEmory, KaiBanks, I loved all of them tho they all were amazing they all had amazing chemistry I'm obsessed with there whole friendgroup and how close and protective of each other they are and how there just sooo amazing!

seeing lots of ppl hating on Erika like whatt in hell??💀 she's my fav girl, corrupt is my fav book i enjoyed it the mosttt tbh, I love Rika character such a bossy girl especially in Killswitch,nd i love her rlt with Michael even tho she was little obsessed over him but c'mon he's Michael n they meant for each other..I felt so connected to em while i'm reading. She's the 5th horseman n no one can say otherwise. ( I enjoyed conclave as well I was sooo excited to read abt them after a whileee)
