So if I do $5 a day it is for the whole ad set(for example a set of 3 ads, $5 total) not $5 each ad ($15 total?)

I really enjoyed this. Great to get insights in to, not only different sectors but also different countries. Good to be reminded how each are all so different but all still trying to do one thing - get people's attention. TBH I would watch paint dry if John Thornton painted it but this video is well worth a watch for social media marketers 👍🏼

when you carry over your social proof to a new campaign ad set is there now 2 of the same ads people are commenting on -> and you see all the additional new comments/reactions on the same ad in both moving forward? or are they now two separate ads just starting with the same social proof?
He's creating a new ad that retains the social proof from the old ad. However, social proof on the new ads is NOT added to the old ad.

When an ad is duplicated and it says "copy" If i removed that, would it affect engagement since that was an edit?
Not sure I follow the exact example here, but yes - if you edit the ad you reset the social proof
Overdrive Digital you know how after you duplicate an ad it will copy the original ad and then will have an additional “copy” named after the name? Idk if that makes sense but it’s what I’m trying to say
@@audiesbuilds Ahh - gotcha! No, that's fine - it's just appending it to the name of the ad so no problem there (you can change the name of your ads)...you'll keep your social engagement.
Overdrive Digital I like to think so but I duplicated an ad for like 5 new ad sets and changed the name to not have the “copy” added and what do you know, my engagement became all separate. Weird because the views are all the same. I’ve decided to just keep the redundant info to further prevent any other “glitches” Facebook may have

Hey - yes, kind of...you can duplicate them but dynamic ads don't carry social proof anyway

Hmmm. This doesn't seem to work for us. We had an ad with 15 different placements, duplicated it 10 times, ticket the box but each ad uses it's own ad, meaning each ad has different numbers of social proof .. Any ideas what could be the issue? (difficult to answer I know... )
Interesting...you seeing that across all placements, or just a handful of guilty parties?
Make it a habit to audit your prospected influencers before fully engaging with them. If background checks are not enough, use QoL tools such as *influencer auditor* to help
Can I exclude people who have liked a fb page that I don't own? Ie competitors page?
Sadly not...you can only exclude custom and lookalike audiences
Can you make any changes when you duplicate and keep social proof?
Nope - once you've duplicated you can't make new edits
