เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 20 มี.ค. 2018
What We Do: PodcastDX is a weekly interview based podcast series. Patients provide experience based medical insight, in a peer to peer format. Many Americans turn to friends and family for support and advice when they have a health problem. Since people’s networks are expanding to include online peers, particularly in the crucible of rare disease, we decided to implement a podcast series to interview and discuss various diagnoses with actual patients. Health professionals remain the central source of information for most Americans, but “peer-to-peer healthcare” is a significant supplement.
Myasthenia Gravis with Tasha White
In this episode we will discuss Myasthenia Gravis, an Autoimmune Disease affecting the neuromuscular system of the body with Tasha White, Director of a new Non-profit organization called My Walk with MG located in St. Louis, MO.
Myasthenia gravis is a chronic neuromuscular disease that causes weakness in the voluntary muscles. Voluntary muscles include muscles that connect to a person’s bones, muscles in the face, throat, and diaphragm. They contract to move the arms and legs and are essential for breathing, swallowing and facial movements. Myasthenia gravis is an autoimmune disease, which means that the body’s defense system mistakenly attacks healthy cells or proteins needed for normal functioning.
The onset of the disorder may be sudden. Symptoms may not be immediately recognized as myasthenia gravis. The degree of muscle weakness involved varies greatly among individuals.

Abdominal Adhesions

This week we discuss Abdominal adhesions. These are bands of scar tissue that form between abdominal tissues and organs. Like the name suggests, the tissue can cause your organs to “adhere,” or stick together. Adhesions commonly form after abdominal surgery. Typically, you don’t need treatment unless they cause a complication, like a small bowel obstruction. Abdominal adhesions are bands of sca...
Vaccines/ Re-Run
มุมมอง 5หลายเดือนก่อน
The first human vaccines against viruses were based using weaker or attenuated viruses to generate immunity. The smallpox vaccine used cowpox, a poxvirus that was similar enough to smallpox to protect against it but usually didn’t cause serious illness. Rabies was the first virus attenuated in a lab to create a vaccine for humans. Vaccines are made using several different processes. They may co...

How about big pharma pushing Statins on 50% of senior citizens in America? Those effing cholesterol drugs cause Alzheimer's, and you neurologists are silent.
So true. I've had friends die in their 60's who have smoked but has a happy, connected, good quality of life. But I've known others who have lived into their 80s and 90s, incapacitated and with dementia. I don't see the point of living longer if you are going to be miserable.
Il y à t il l'a version en français ? Merci
I’ve lost my mother, sister and son to the genetic heart disease and I have personally arrested multiple times over the years, but I’ve been the only one to survive. It nice to hear another young persons story living with SSS……I’m new to it.
So glad to have found this. I am a genetic patient with SSS. Mine developed as a result of surgeries and heavy beta blockers. Thankfully I already had an ICD so when my node died I had the protection in place. I’m 46.

Collagen and whatever other nutrients that are included for tendons and joints i have the same condition and i would recommend staying away from weights and focusing on reinforcing the spine and joints/ligaments using plyometric and isometric bodyweight theres alot more to that but imbalances and tendon stress are the biggest cons and with age ive also noticed the mind muscle connection increases demanding greater output from the nerves
There is a lot of microbiology on post acute squalae of Covid-19. This virus behaves in some very “unique” ways that are very damaging. Specifically, the damage done by amyloid fibrinogen that is self replicating causing very sticky white micro clots. She’s a smart young woman, so she will discover there’s a reason the healthcare as industry has been uninformed, and left extremely inept at looking at the extensive microbiology of a virus history with some dubious gains since the beginning of the 21st Century. It’s never good when your government, specifically darpa funds “research”. All of the patent data was scrubbed off of the internet in June 2021, but this is well “studied” as a pathogen of interest by our military. Also bone loss in all cases of Covid, so restoring homeostasis in all cellular systems affected is important, there is a lot to know about this virus. Lot’s of natural supplements that help with everything, since the traditional medicine in U.S. studies you, not really helpful, except they should be running lots of tests, an at least making sure hormones, etc. are balanced and address inflammation and pain with LDN, which must be compounded. Quercitin, Lumbrokinase many good doctors on TH-cam discussing what helps to improve the condition and protect relapse as we get constantly reinfected. I HAVE BEEN WRITING DOWN THE NUMBER OF VIEWS AND RECORDED THE NUMBERS IN THE DESCRIPTION OF PLAYLISTS. It's absolutely amazing how the view counters on my Playlists are being timed out. Not only timed out, but views are routinely removed from videos that have already been watched. It also seems that the views are timed out/REMOVED on videos that youtube doesn't want trending on this platform:[🤢🤮🤕]:

Unfortunately yes, Wilder’s mom posted that he passed away last week. RIP Wilder!
Glad I came across this video. My 4yr old is experiencing nightly sweating followed by hypothermia. They have been searching for a diagnosis for her many symptoms for almost 2 yrs now. She has autonomic dysfunction, hypothalamic dysfunction symptoms daily. Then she has random episodes of crisis where she has had sudden severe symptoms develop like nausea/vomiting, lethargy, hypoglycemia and sometimes loss of consciousness but usually recovers within an hr or so. No tests have found an exact cause or explanation yet but I’m starting to think shapiro syndrome and or a neurotransmitter disorder. Thank you for sharing and helping others!! ❤
Glad he is sharing this information.
My daughter was 9 and her memory is now shot after covid.

How do I help an adult I suspect is a victim to this behavior? My brother in-law was always a decently healthy individual, he became involved with a woman and ever since he has gone down hill with all sorts of random unexplainable things including a lot of kidney issues or infections. We can never get him alone to get any sort of explanation and she's always threating or trying to tell doctors how to do their jobs. She also takes him to a different hospital or provider for every bout of illness. We know something is wrong but they or she wont allow us to get close enough to figure anything out. If you have any advice I could really use it at this point.
I know this was two years ago. Were you able to help your brother? I hope so. I think my dad’s caregiver is doing the same to my father. He gets better care hospital but goes downhill quickly in her care. Praying for your family
