The Banana Wars - The History of the Banana
The first domesticated bananas originated in southeast Asia and Papua New Guinea. So how did they make their way to pretty much every other country and how did they become so popular? That answer is filled with exploitation, war and corruption. In this episode we explore the dark history behind the now common fruit.

The Dunning-Kruger Effect - The Less You Know, The More You Think You Know
My parents both had dark hair and eyes but here I am tawny with green eyes. 2% of the world, but 100% of my household! I married a green eyed man and we had green eyed babies! Definitely my favorite feature.

Me too, I have green eyes.❤🟢❤
Both of my parents have brown eyes, I have 5 sisters and I'm the only one who came out with green eyes (I'm the youngest)
Deep dark avocado eyes. Very distinct, if I wear a brown hair even more noticeable plus o negative
Im green 💚 and so are my 4 sons
Danny, your eyes appear to be the same shade of green as mine. My first cousin, Billie had eyes the same shade of green as a 7-Up bottle - ridiculously green!
Olive green eyes here. My Mom had light, clear blue eyes & my Dad had dark brown eyes. There were five of us children, my brother had dark brown eyes, as did two of my sisters, one sister with brownish hazel eyes, & one sister with clear, blue eyes.
My father has chameleon type eyes which it changes different colors but don’t understand why. It will be brown, then change to a light brown to greenish color then light blue it’s weird.
😮Watch the video again until you see the points discussed in the video. Amazing
Frigen ridiculous
Yeah buddy were all my green eyes people at? my Dad has light blues my mom brown i still somehow got green
Cilantro, I recognize the strong soapy taste in cilantro 🌿, but cilantro is in the best salsa & pico,,, so I associate it with how salsa & pico de gallo are supposed to taste. I even put cilantro in the fresh salsa & pico de gallo I make.
This is one of the civilizations buried by Noah's Flood.
Hi, I'm of Irish/Scottish descent. I and my four siblings have green eyes - a little different shades. My dad has blue eyes, , my mom has hazel. My husband is blue eyed and both our kids are grey/blue eyed.
My mother, Brown eyes. My father light blue eyes. Me, very green eyes ?
Thank you, this helped me write an essay 🦅🦅
I have sectional hetrochromic eyes each iris is exactly half blue and half green. I inherited hetrochromic eyes from my Paternal Grandfather who had one brown eye and one blue eye. My Father had Hazel eyes and my Mother had blue eyes.
Maybe because this people should have got blue eyes, I´m afraid.
My mum has green eyes and so do I. My middle daughter now has green eyes. They were blue at birth until she was 2 then one day I noticed they were green ! I love she has green eyes too.
We also gave a high rate of RH negative blood type. Two rare traits. 👽
I have green eyes, very green, could not be mistaken for blue or brown because it's a completely different colour. At least 80% of the time someone says they have green eyes you look and they are clearly blue, generally light blue, most of the rest have hazel. They are still pretty eyes just not green. Yes green is cool because it's rare but you can't call your blue eyes green and have it be true.
My mom has brown eyes, my dad has blue eyes, and me and my three siblings all have green eyes! It doesn't seem like you have to have a green eyed parent to have green eyes.
Both my parents had green eyes
Green here 🙂
My half Native American Grandmother had Green Eyes my Maternal Uncle also, she shared her Eye Color with me ! Black Hair and darker skin color with Green eyes, they were exceptionally Beautiful people.
I have green eyes. Green eyed mother and brown eyed father.
My Mom had very dark brown eyes. My Dad had the most beautiful, sky blue eyes. My 2 siblings have brown eyes. I was the rare, green eyed girl!
Both my parents and sister have brown eye's and I ended up having green. My grandmother had green eyes which is how I got them. Even when your parents have brown or blue eyes they can still carry the green eye color in their genetics. Sometimes it skips a generation.
Brown eyes father blue eyes mother green eyes me
My mother had blue eyes, my father had Hazel eyes. I had bright blue eyes until puberty. Then they turned green, sometimes grey, depending on the weather and what I'm wearing. My oldest grandaughter's eyes also went from blue to green/grey at puberty. My oldest son went from blue to grey in his teens.
My name is peanut 🥜
My mother had blue eyes, my dad had brown eyes and I have green eyes and I’m not adopted. My dad’s mother had grey eyes and I never met my grandfather because he died from a cut that got infected before antibiotics were invented back in 1932 but I’m guessing he had brown. But according to the study of genetics Brown eyes can be Bb or BB which means the gene for brown eyes is represented by the capital B and the lower case b is blue BB eyes are two genes of the dominate Brown eye gene. Bb is one dominate brown eye gene mixed with the blue eye gene which they carry but display the brown eyes but they can have a blue eyed child if they marry a blue eyed person or marry another person who has brown eyes but carries the blue eye gene. So what you said is wrong. You don’t know genetics as well as you think.
My mum has blue eyes and my dad has brown eyes but I’ve got green eyes 🧐
I will be honest. Most contributions and inventions of blacks are not well known. Very good video.
He's not black, he's half White
Good video , good communication skills, well researched and very interesting. Would like to see more videos on black inventors. Some people say black people did not invent anything. Thank you so much. Keep up the good work. Thanks again.
Very good video on George Washington Carver
I am hispanic and I have green eyes. My mom has emerald eyes too. 🥰
My mom has blue and my dad has brown?
Father brown eyes, mother blue-my eyes green.
Same!!
One parent has blue, one brown... I have green eyes.
Same mom has brown dad has blue but my grandmother has green I was the only grandchild and even great grandchild who got her eye color
I have more greyish-green. Both parents had brown… peculiar isn’t it?
So I have true LIGHT green eyes. My Mom had crystal blue eyes and my Dad had green eyes. I'm a middle child, my brother has hazel gray eyes and my sister after me has the same as my brother. How come I got the crystal light green eyes and they didn't?? Yes my Father has traits are at least 50% Irish
I HAVE MEDIUM DARK GREEN EYES DAD HAD SAVE GREEN EYES MOM HAS LIGHT EYES SO I TAKE AFTER DAD❤😂❤😂❤
Everyone in my family has blu or blu grey eyes but mine are green like my grandfather on my father side had ❤
My parents both had blue eyes, and my sister has green eyes and I have blue/green hazel eyes.
Green eyes are from a specific gene according to my DNA report.
Dad had blue eyes, mum had brown. I have green, along with an uncle whom i got my middle name from.
Red hair 🥴 forgot to say hair! I’m old 🙀👵🏻😱🖖🏼👽🐲 what do you expect!😊❤
