Good work man. Liked and subscribed to the channel. Good luck out there and tight lines
we will be family, my last name is also Waddell.
😅
James, you are back. You hit the jackpot today. Congrats on your nice snook . Your boat still looks brand new. You really take good care of it. 😃
Thanks 👍
I was wondering if you were still fishing and if you still had the 14' foot boat. I went with a Gheenoe LT25 Side Console. Where are you fishing? West Coast, Tampa Bay?
This is up in the nature coast , a place called Ozello
Yes, that is 2 hours from me. Ozello is below Crystal River. @@jameswaddell2848
Nice! Let’s see it next time.
Where trail in croom is this?
Can't tell you exactly I know it was along the portion of the trail called the Southwest blue
James, congratulations on a fine Snook.
James, I am so glad you are back. I missed your videos there for a while and I thought we had lost you to Covid. Welcome back!
Nope just wasn't fishing/catching a lot, also upgraded from a gopro 4 to an 11, you should see a difference if you turn up quality setting in the videos.
James, did you sell the skimmer skiff 14.6 or do you still fish it?
Hey James, I live in palm harbor too. I hope to see this in person some time. It’s such a great looking boat.
Would be glad to show it to you, love my skimmer skiff
Great catch, I am glad you caught a nice fish. Great video. God willing and as soon as I get my boat next month, I will start doing and posting TH-cam videos like you.
How does it take choppy water in the bay? Do you get wet? I'm interested in buying one so I would really appreciate your response 🙏
It handles chop well oh, but it is only 14 foot 6 I'm in the Palm Harbor area and have come in from the out Islands with one and a half foot chop and you have to drive accordingly oh, I have taken one wave over the bow
This boat definitely Shines on a calmer day and running in shallow water that's what it's designed and built for
@@jameswaddell9966 thanks for the response man. What's the strongest winds you would take the boat out? Would you go out in 15 mph winds?
@@MrGabys91 15 would be at the top of the list, too many nice days to go out in that
James, you have me thinking on the Skimmer Skiff 14.6. You remind me of me with the PA-14, I just sold my 2020 Hobie PA-14 because it was killing my back from lifting and peddling to and from fishing spots. James, you recommend a Skimmer Skiff 14.6 whole heartedly? right?
Yes Bobby is the owner and you will deal directly with him.It will be a custom build so whatever you want can be done. I have just under 14 G in this boat but I got every thing I wanted,Just the way I wanted it with all the bells and whistles.
Hello James, thank you for your videos. I am 61 years young and in the market for a microskiff. I have been considering the Gheenoe LT-25 and the Skimmer Skiff. Do you have the 14.6 or the 16.6 skimmer skiff? Also you had the inside gunnels option and does it help with boat docking and preventing gelcoat scratches? I hope to see more of your videos. I am in Central Florida. Are you in Florida? Thank you.
Yes that's the 14-6 I too had the same options of the gheenoe and went with the skimmer skiff I feel it's a lot more stable and it gets pretty skinny, I also have a freshwater Live Well fore and aft battery's, it will do right around 30 with just me in it and also fits in my garage because I went with the folding tongue on the trailer, I will be 60 this year and have no problems launching myself. I live in Palm Harbor, Pinellas County hope this helps you
@@jameswaddell9966 Thank you. I think I am leaning to the Skimmer Skiff 14.6. They are both the same price more or less.
@@jameswaddell9966 what is the total length of the setup with the folding tongue? Thanks in advance. I’m trying to see if it will fit in my garage too!
How much HP? How much speed with two people ready to fish?
Its a 25 hp and with 2 people ,full livewell, two batteries and 6 gallons of gas just shy of 30 mph
@@jameswaddell2848 Thats amazing. This is on the 14 or 16? I am giving serious thought to the 16 with a Tohatsu 20HP EFI. I solo fish 95% of the time, and I wont be covering huge distances. If I can get just 20MPH one rider ready to fish, I would be happy.
@@KungPowEnterFist this is a 14.6 with Power trim and tilt and a hydraulic jack plate
by myself Ive hit 31

Love the Molly Hatchet and that is one sweet kayak. Nice job!
