its called a nail knot. buy a nail knot tool, 30lb dacron and some beads and you can easily make these as you need them. for $20 you can buy all this and have enough for your entire lifetime

2 of the best places to fish in the country "and their are others" pend Oreille and Idaho. Have seen bigger fish from smaller places but this is a good one.

Most of us Are Right handed and grew up cranking a Spinning reel with left hand. There are Quality Reels available; OPEN FACE" , Like your using , in Left hand Crank, Which would be my Choice. nothing wrong with the bentos, I've caught fish on them, but truth to tell, when you locate active feeding smallmouth, there's probably a good 100 different baits that they will hit! LOL.....which is why they are so much fun, being as aggressive as they are.....

Do you guys know how the walleye and mackinaw fishing is on this lake now a days? From what I researched and sounds like DNR has Suppressed these fish.. Great VIDEO here though! I look forward to getting into some trout!

Use drawings for your videos. My suggestions....Dropper line should be about 3 feet long. Pinch on split shot at whatever depth you like, but keep the dropper line long for future adjustability. Just to be on the safer side, you can use a weaker pound test for your dropper line, if you like. Split shot ? Yes ! , easy on, easy off, they're cheaper, they pull off if it gets snagged, then just pinch on another one. Why buy the fancy expensive designer weights ? Those spin shot hooks are great.
