Right now compared them with your video and same song 30cm field coil. These Heco lacks of bass, but the rest is bomb! Dynamics, scale, brightness (in good meaning) - they are great! full of live and emotions.

I expected some different sound. Sounds dark, too soft and like it doesn`t want to go out of cabinet)) Pleasant low-mids, but from mid to highs - is there slow slopping towards highs? May be too much filtering?

Even without baffles sounds magnificent! Image depth is not the best their side (at list here without any cabinet) but the rest is very live and involving. Top end is a bit harsh and exessive, but this is common for such a speakers

I was always fascinated how this type of speakers, with their limited frequencies, can open up whole world of sound behind them! Every smallest pick, all spectrum of postreverberation down to bass region...I think art of making such speakers is lost now(( It was time, when speakers were rather musical instruments, than electro-mechanical devices

Very open, airy with lot of space and freedom! Effortless bass, crystal highs...But transition from FR to ribbon is not good. Upper midrange is too dull timbre, too soft. This clearly heard on khang and voice. If it is possible I would try to shift crossover point lower between FR and tweeter, maybe play with Q and order of FR speaker filter, or try more bright cap there (if it is there)) It is not bad or wrong - reminds soft sound of goodmans axiom 301 - but not a good company to ribbon twitter as to me.

Your collection is incredible and so is your channel…however, if I can make one request/suggestion that would make a huge difference for your followers/watchers that are also extreme speaker collectors/lovers… could you please list all of the drivers used in each video (company, model, year, size) and if possible show the magnet/frame briefly as well. For Instance, in this video what is the tweeter? An HM10? That’s just a guess. Anyway, just wanted to mention that. If you have not been doing it on purpose, I understand that too;) thanks very much Chris

I believe too much of what we are hearing is coming from reflections off of the back walls and the rear sides of the speakers. But a good demonstration of the quality of field coil speakers.
