I've worked as a web developer on freelancing marketplaces like UpWork ( Top Rated Plus ), Codeable, and Toptal ( World 3% ) for 10 years. I own an offshore Bangladesh-based web development agency called BoomDevs ( agency.boomdevs.com/ ) and WE ARE NOT CHEAP. We charge almost whatever an Australian agency would charge. But just because our resources are more affordable, we can delegate enough staff for each project ensuring better service than a nearshore company. UI/UX, VA, Project Manager, Developers you name it, and most of the time they are more experienced than nearshore developers.

This is a great video and sounds like a fanastic place to work.

You can't just pay anyone a cheap rate, and expect them to work as a developer who has a higher quality of life in your country. When people find how a developer in a wealthy country is paid, they easily lose the motivation, and enthusiasm. That's why developers should be paid fairly.

I say most project fail, because many companies way to confident about theirs requirements, requirements change and to figure it out what is important and not important is hard, this way you need to have a external consultants to make sure that you do the right stuff, consultans would work like early failure prediction system, but companies say we dont have money for that, well they earned the failure yeah ha!

I've worked for huge corporations and frankly, life is much better with small and medium enterprise. You have to be more flexible and wear a lot of hats but IMHO it's much more rewarding. Love the approach you are taking in this video. Hope you got some great applicants.
