"I don't know where I'd be if you hadn't done that..." There comes a time when you don't know what to do with your life and you're scared. You'll need someone to lean on. I don't know what I did to deserve such wonderful people but they truly have saved my life. I am revisiting this video years after it was made to type this. Thank god I did not give up. Thank god I was saved by some wonderful ...

It's finally done guys! TH-cam killed the quality though upon upload... These lovely ladies are some of the many barrel racers and gaming riders on horseforum.com. :) I did NOT put myself in there because I don't feel my horse is worth showing off yet...Haha Plus videos from my spectators never turn out right. :'D NOTE: I did have a VERY hard time with some videos, so if you are not in here, I ...
Selena's itch

Guilty, she talked be into lengthening her rope so she could scratch her butt since she worked so well on her Speed Barrel run right before. Bahaha. She's so fat and cute and little.

Rode her at my grandparent's house. Isn't she good? Her attempt at a bronc was cute. LOL Silly old lady doesn't know her bucks aren't that big, so don't tell her. Hasn't been ridden in eleven years. Bubbles was just attached to her hip and too ridiculous to bother seperating her for the brief ride, she needs a LOT of round pen work away from her momma but we didn't have the resources. She is a ...

Selena likes to play little tricks on me where she "tests my seat." It's for my wellbeing of course. She's doing me a favor.

This is what I do at school when I should be working.
Awesome
lol I love your description. that's the most accurate thing I've seen in a looooong time. Also- great video!
Are amazing
English
AND
Western!!!!!!
i rember this song all to well love it !!
I ride BOTH. And I enjoy both. I also ride Australian. I hate when people say "western is for hicks" or "english is for sissies"! TRY before you judge it. (As for the show jumping, I think it's in part those video games; they make it look like the jumps are just a baby hop when they are 6feet high; this requires real effort for both horse and rider)
Western! Ha love both but western is just for me!
dont know why but english looks so much neater and better XD
western is not common where i live but i would love to try it now just finding time :p
Western for the win!!!
English RULES!! =D
LMAO it's funny
1:47-2:01 her screw up is all over TH-cam 🐴
western but I would like to try Englsih. I just prefer Western because i feel like the horse is more "free"
I ride both styles and love them both equally!
Some people don't know how to ride a horse, Or horse don't know how to barrel race.... Just saying
PLZ read!! Guys!! We need to stop this fighting!! I used to ride western but now I ride english. They both include the pain, fear, speed, hight, danger, and BOTH create a strong bond between human and horse!! It doesn't matter which one is better, or which one is harder!! As long as we are getting the joy, and thrill that every rider should get, it doesn't matter what discipline you do!!! They are equal. Comment if you agree with me. Riding should not be a fight. It should be an amazing experience.
OurHorseAddiction I ride both
Western. English riders you guys ARE NOT snots
Katie Hendrickson actually, you’re the ‘snot’ since you said it. 😉
English FOR THE WIN!
show jumping is life, english is life.
true
Western all over here!
Thank you! Sorry to say but English riders think us Western riders are capable of nothing. Excuse me, but we are risking our lives and our horses lives but rounding up Bulls 😂
WESTERN GIRL!!!!! SORRY ENGLISH
I feel like you bagged on English riding more. Like "hey English rider I bet you can't do allllll of this! Oh yeah.... You have that one or two things that are cool too."
WESTERN
love the editing
English ftw!
This is so cute! Nice job!!!
RACING PIGS!
I love both very much but I ride english and have never rode western but when I get a horse I'm going to do both
WOW! that last run was frigan amazing!!!
Cute!
I like how you would switch between disciplines whenever the voice would change. It was cute :3
With the bending pole I do have to say mounted games is English and never incorporated in these things.... Mounted games is sooooo hard
Sorry, I wasn't very clear. What I meant was English, let alone bareback. I know they're not the same thing, but I'm also used to riding in the old Crosby PDN-style saddles that are flat as a board and, when I drop my stirrups, is nearly the same. I know Western requires skill and training too, as I ride both ways. I just hate it when "tough cowboys" go around shitting on English because it's "sissy" when most of the time it's because they can't handle it.
What Movie Maker did you use?
this is my life
Who cares? What makes one saddle type "better" than the other? It's just the way you ride. They are both equal.
If you can't handle riding in an English saddle or bareback, you aren't a good rider. That is all she is saying.
Horses also jump in the wild. How is that any worse than forcing a horse to trail ride? They "knock" their legs up just as bad!
Horses jump in the wild though, so it must not be that dangerous or bad for them. Horses get hurt just as often and bad on trails.
Exactly! I think anyone who refuses to ride in a saddle just because it's different is a fair weather rider and doesn't truly enjoy riding that much. I will ride in any saddle available given that it is safe and fits the horse, and if not I will happily ride bareback!
I've met lots of defensive, jerky Western riders in my time. I have been training horses and riders in the English and Western disciplines for over 40 years and have learned that no matter what saddle you're in, you MUST have correct posture. I'm not saying either one is better or harder than the other, but the way you carry yourself matters A LOT especially if you are jumping in a pancake flat Crosby PDN. Nothing like a Western saddle at all.
What about the jumping question she asked you? And I have been doing jumping, barrel racing, gymkhana, and FAST trail riding for years. I'm sorry, but your butt alone will not keep you in the saddle. And no one has ever "mastered" a certain discipline, as there is always more to learn.
new fav song!!!!!
The thing with western is running around barrels seems like it would get boring day after day unlike jumping where everyday is different, like the jumping course changes unlike the barrel course, so I choose English over western any day.
That's how I feel about English. And that's what I did in my Western lessons. At my barn. That's just what they did. Not saying all Western is like that. And yes it does require balance, but you have more saddle to hold you in than you do in an English saddle.
im sorry but English is totes fun and all but I just cant do it im connected to barrel racing English is kinda slow for me I love speed but English is awesome to
also I meant English lessons
