how to be an overachiever in 2024 🤨🤨🤔🤔🤯🤯🤯🤯
มุมมอง 3.7Kปีที่แล้ว
send this to an overachieving friend tldr to make this video more coherent: if ur reason for not doing smth is that "you don't have enough time" it is my belief that you can afford to spend less time on things (even if they aren't 100% perfect, just move on) trick ur brain into thinking something is more urgent than it is, so that u're more focused when u're doing it,and then u finish it faster...
underrated study technique to beat the bell curve (profs hate this ONE TRICK) 🤯🤯😱😱

Nah There’s no hard rule of “if you’re in year X of university or age X u need to know what u want in life”. I’m kinda in the same place, but I’m out of uni and have been in a full time job for 1+ years. Though still unsure of my career path and passion and where I want to work or settle down. A lot of my peers though know what they want and are striving on their goals. I feel a bit out of place and lost sometimes and I assume that’s what ur feeling too? But I would say take it one step at a time, u can think about it but don’t constantly overthink as it will lead to an existential crisis trust. If it’s about career, perhaps u can try a career counsellor. Otherwise just constantly try different things like online courses, new hobbies, talking to new ppl or wtv. Through all these experiences you’ll be able to know urself more and it may hint u to what u want. Anyway we’re still young, let our frontal lobe develop and enjoy what we have now and we’ll eventually figure things out. All the best
What's wtv?

I get the need for clickbait, so I guess, I can live with it... but as a prof currently compiling study tips for my own students, I whole-heartedly object to that title ;) Unless your profs are awful people, most of us really want students to be well-prepared and relaxed enough to be able to actually benefit from what we teach them. I teach data analysis and computational modeling for cog sci and I absolutely care more about students actually learning and retaining something and being able to come back to their notes to quickly find what they need years from now than I do about scaring and bullying them. Just for added perspective in case there are people out there who think profs hate study "tricks." Because if I was honest with my students, I'd tell them that I would often cram a night before any exam and pass with ease as long as I paid attention in class. But I also know that this might be a random memory advantage I had and will not be the case for the majority of students in the topics I teach, so I actively seek advice on how they should study instead.
Nice video! Consider though lowering the music audio, I struggled to listen to you at times.
El video dura 4:20 pero yo me tarde 10:00 por todo el texto que tenia que leer
Thanks for sharing man. These mind map examples seem way more relatable and repeatable than what I’ve learned from Justin Sung. I’m about to get back into college after a few years off, and I’m being more intentional about my learning this time. My main takeaway from watching Justin’s stuff, is that the biggest priority is for you to just execute the “process” of learning really well. Don’t get caught up in the methodology too much. Mind maps are simply, a reflection of the work your mind is doing. That’s how I understand it. Gonna try my best at doing mind maps this upcoming fall semester. I’m actually excited! Good luck on your studies man
Solid advice but the music is too loud
App is mindmaps! some other alternatives are freeform and onenote
You music is annoyingly loud

well done on the clickbait lmao. great video!! some advice, use a better mic, reduce the music volume, and maybe don't put so much text over the video.
Are you an accounting student 😂
business admin!
I'm so into you.... I can barley breath....
LET HIM COOK 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
very cool video +engagement
+appreciate you
this is really helpful bro
glad to hear that, cheers mate
I love your videos. Some comments are: - Are you reading off a script? You probably should and that way you make less mistakes - Have some familiarity with the script/what you're about to say so that you can ad lib if you feel like it, but you won't ad lib on a tangent so far off, that you're in next year - Have some fun and put some humour in there Have a good day!
damn you just made me miss my old school all over again
mission accomplished
You should try heptabase.
sheesh looks crazy
@@jacobcdef You're welcome.
Yo, glad you like school! Ngl, i stil hate ( yes, hate) school, but I love learning and just like learning my own way. So to all those who still dislike school, its ok! Again, bless your hearth and GoodLuck!!
enjoy the journey!!
W NUS
May the algorithm bless you dude!
your presence is enough
Yea! Love this dude!
Have u ever tried freeform
yup I've tried it, features-wise it's really close to prodrafts! i'm just more used to prodraft's uiux so that's why im sticking to for now.. and well i've paid for it (sunk cost fallacy lol)
I've been telling people about Prodrafts for monthssss but everyone's stuck with goodnotes and notability which is a shame imo
its ok it will be our secret
