Interesting retelling. One issue I find is that Tanjiro did not know the term "sun breathing" until AFTER Rengoku protected him from Akaza. Tanjiro went to see Rengoku's family and heard the term "sunbreather" from Rengoku's father. So in this retelling, if Tanjiro was killed by Akaza and Rengoku did not send him to his family, then Zenitsu would not have heard about sun breathing...
