EP.177 : Inside the Mark Makers Mastermind Experience
I am so excited to talk about one of the most transformative programs I offer: the Mark Makers Mastermind! This mastermind is a deeply personal and intentional space that I pour my heart into every year, designed exclusively for creative entrepreneurs ready to make their mark on the world!
What even is mastermind, you might ask? In essence, it’s a small, intimate group committed to supporting each other in achieving big dreams. Together, we form a powerful network - 30 creative minds coming together to share insights, hold each other accountable, and inspire personal and professional growth.
Please tune in as I walk you through the Mark Makers journey, from our monthly “share calls” to intensive workshops where we connect, strategize, and make breakthroughs. Next year, we will even be traveling to Maine and Texas for two of our workshops - unique settings for unique transformations!
This isn’t just about business strategy; it’s a safe, nurturing space where you can bring your whole self, share openly, and connect with people who truly “get it.” You’ll meet incredible entrepreneurs like Cynthia, who achieved her best year in over a decade, and Jenna, who has doubled her revenue every year since joining. Being a Mark Maker means leading with creativity, generosity, and impact, and if that resonates with you, I would so love for you to apply. If you're ready to make 2025 a year of transformation, join us! Applications are open now through November 21st!

Ms. Bonnie, Thank you for uploading your podcast on TH-cam! You are so appreciated. Thank you for all that you do.🙏💕🕊️
I love this idea but I'm not in a position yet to hire help. I'm at the very beginning of my business journey. I'm still figuring it all out!
You are an amazing person Bonnie my life has so much clarity after Immersion and your podcast
I was just thinking about this today! 💜 It is a fear, you’re so right!
I just came across your content and podcast today doing a search for artists teaching other artists how to turn it into a business. I cannot tell you how super helpful this was!!!! Thank you so much for investing in people like me in this way! I look forward to watching/reading/hearing more about you and your work!!
This is so transparent! I had never heard of a house manager!
Hasn't been done by you. I'm 24 minutes in, and these few words for me are a big deal. I've recently spoken about 'how many times can you reinvent the wheel'. Why? Because I hear of so many jobs that are total bull. They are needed. Systems are not working because despite lots of managers, no one is actually aware of the finer points. By the way I'm in the Uk, so I'm thinking of our NHS, transport, local government agencies called councils. We're in the 21st century but going backwards in many places. True creativity is endless. Fabric will always be needed. Having dipped into your world a few times, today I've gone back to your TH-cam start. Thank you for all your podcasts🙂
Erin Kendal, baked beans🤣🤣🤣🤣😍
I haven't taken Immersion, but I've watched every scrap of free things you've put out there Bonnie! 🤣 Except for this last January. Cause I was taking another class. I am still working on your class on Creative Live. Chipping away at it every free second I have at my home computer on Illustrator, which isn't very often. 😭 Maybe one day I'll be able to break awaybfrom my night shift hospital job... Cause I'm working noghts full time and homeschooling during the day!!!
I want to know if she is working full time and has kids!
Hi Bonnie! May I ask what model of the Wacom tablet you use or suggest for illustrator for surface pattern design ? Thank you 😊
Loving all your podcasts! So ENCOURAGING! I have several of your fabrics and love creating with them! AGF is my FAV too! 😊
So pretty like Everything that Bonnie makes
Oh my gosh, I related and resinated with so much of what everyone was saying. Bonnie I discovered you through Skillshare back in 2015 and said out loud that THIS is what I want to do. I was living in our little 15ft caravan at the time but our business in Tiny Houses started to take off and so that is where my focus went. In 2019 we ran Australia's very first Tiny House Festival and it was my first taste of any kind of success! We did it from nothing but the skin of our teeth and determination.... then, you guessed it, 2020 happened! We've been spinning our wheels ever since. I'm literally sitting here designing for the next Spoonflower challenge as I was listening. I have some know how from fashion school and your Spoonflower classes and others etc. I feel like our growth was on-par with your own however ours was not a passive income so all came tumbling down and no way to pivot as based in Melbourne in lockdowns for most part of two years! I have had other personal issues however everything is now coming together for me to sink my teeth into this new venture!
This is so inspiring to me! I desperately want to get into surface pattern design soon but was concerned that being a homeschool SAH mom might might overwhelm me. It’s AWESOME to hear of someone who really made it a part of their family culture. This made my day!
Thank you Bonnie I have already learned so much just listening to a few of your videos. The way you put things somehow clears away all the fog of self doubt and hesitation and is giving me the courage you actually start on my dreams! Do one thing a day is an amazing and helpful concept! I’m such a perfectionist that I feel I can’t start until I know what to do and how to do it. Just start anyway is the message I needed to hear. I hope your story will be my story in the next few years!
Thank you for your authenticity and generous sharing of your process. This is helping me frame my process for moving forward.
Such an inspiration! Thank you so much!
Thanks for your awesome tips. I am a home body too.
Thank you. You gave me an idea to use it to combine my own arts to generate new ideas.
There is room for me. Thank you ❤
I too stop making decisions out of fear.
Definitely needed this today... As I start to take on a sales team, thank you🤗
Is breaking in the saturated market if your designs are high-quality and unique that differentiate you from others, will you most likely succeed?
I already have some designs in mind. So how does someone sell them and how do you present them?
I love that you have some designs in mind! Take a peek at Episode 22: 15 Ways to Create Income with Your Creativity. th-cam.com/video/GYbZDbuT8bU/w-d-xo.html It also includes a link to watch 60x60: Where 60 successful artists, illustrators, and surface designers share how they create income from their artwork in just 60 seconds. Cheering you on! 🎉
Thank you for this. I am going through the research journey, podcasts and designers I like. I got to say your podcasts are very positive, motivational. And listening to the negative really does help too. I know when I start, I don’t give up and with this I will push forward.
Wow, thank you for your kind words and for listening to the Podcast! Cheering you on!
Thank you, Bonnie, for your amazing encouragement. Doubt always seems to creep in, but this message is a reminder that if I take things one step at a time and overcome my fears, the things I'm meant to do will become a reality.
Cheering you on as you chase after your dreams! ❤️
I started taking classes on Graphic Design as I was looking forward to learning Adobe Illustrator, now I wonder if I should've grabbed some of your available classes instead 🤔

Fabric can be super cheap. And the prices of things can be inflated up to 300%. So someone out there, is making fabric designs for next to nothing.
Thank you for this podcast, This can be applied to any business. I do water colors, and wish to do other creations using my artistic talent, and just by luck I found your channel. Delighted to hear your experiences, and congratulations from my heart. Just subscribed and eager to hear your experiences. Thank you !!

I love this so much! Thank you for being so encouraging! ❤❤❤
Excellent! Thanks for sharing.
I posted this on ConvertKit as well after watching your story this morning. It was a great video. I've been donating my graphic design skills to nonprofits for years and never expecting anything in return. It's a great feeling knowing that my work helps raise funds for kids with cancer and families who need a support network to support their children while they work two or three jobs to maintain their household. Nonprofits really are a great resource because the government can only do so much and many times the government just can't do it well because of so much need in our communities. It's great knowing that I can help fill the gap in some tiny way. It really does take a village. Now it's time that I look out for myself. I have spent over a year trying to find some sort of stable income. I've run my own business for 10+ years and since 2022 it really slowed down. I started doing content creation last year but want to take it to the next level. Maybe I teach graphic design, photo editing and video by offering courses? I'm not sure, but this video gives me hope that I can do it. I'm trying to build an audience in social and I signed up for ConvertKit in hopes that it can further my business and career. Thanks again for posting this. Chris K
Thank you I needed that Bonnie!
Dear Bonnie. I love your message today. I feel the universe send it to me because sometimes I wonder if I have to dream about being a SPD. Thoughts like “I’m not good enough” or “there’s so many people doing this” invades me. But when I see your videos or when I listen to your podcast all this awful thoughts flies away from me and all I want to do is start quickly and seriously this path. Thanks for being there giving us hope and certainty. Please never stop!🥰
Thank you, Loreto. There's room for you! Thank you as well for listing to the Podcast! 😊
I'm starting mine today! I have been following you for several years and am looking forward to more episodes. Thank you for the beauty you share and how generous you are with information.
