The Tudor BlackBay 58 // A Modern Icon (Full Review)
มุมมอง 15K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a video review of the Tudor BlackBay 58. I'm really proud of this one, y'all. I took a lot of time to learn some color correction and sound editing stuff. Let me know what you think, and if you can see a difference between this and the quality of the first video I posted! A Longterm Review of The Omega Aqua Terra (38mm) // The Perfect Everyday Watch?
มุมมอง 68K3 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a review of the Omega Aqua Terra, reference no. 220.10.38.20.03.001 after having owned it for about a year and a half. Website: theminutemarker.com Instagram: @theminutemarker Personal Instagram: @brandon.paul
thickness of 12.2 ~ 12.5 mm depending on different sources
I think you lost an earring?😅
lol I just got my other earlobe pierced. I hope you’ll be happier with the symmetry in the next video 😂
Did they shave a mil off the thickness? Im seeing 12.2mm on the omega website and some other reviews 🧐 lovely warch btw
It’s a stunning watch, and I enjoyed your video enormously. Cheers from 🇬🇧
I think you listed the thickness of the 41mm. Omega’s website and other reviews list the 38mm at 12.2mm.
Great video mate thank you!
What's on your ear?
You talk very slow. Too slow.
Need some advice. How do I maintain an automatic watch.
Pencil markers? Fence post markers? Sharpened stick markers? I have no idea.
Very entertaining video, buddy! Keep ‘em coming
Thanks, friend! More in the works!
I was at Windup Chicago 2022 and saw most of the things you discussed in the video. Two of my favorites were Lorier and AnOrdain.
It was lovely getting some hands on time with them right?!
Lorier 🙌
Dude I still want one SO BAD
You mean 2023 ?
I meant 2022. Windup Chicago ‘23 is in a couple of weeks.
Oh ok ..Ur saying about last years winners as prior to the show …
2023 begins 7-14-23
Hey man what kind of strap is that at 5:30
Outstanding video!
Where’d you get the different bracelets?
Wonderful review. Just what I was looking for. Also, where is that strap from?
Thickness 13.2mm ?. Mine is 12.4mm !
Hello m8. Wrist size?
6.5 inches at time of shooting
Beautiful
My grail watch.
❤❤
I just got a solids rose gold AT and it's fantastic....
Interesting review spoilt by the over loud background music
State of the collection would be cool
We don't talk about Bruno, no no
Great review on a great watch. I own the 41mm Sub and wanting this one more.
A great review! Thank you!
Nice review man. Great watxh
"Who, even, am I?" The man with the pearl earing, that's who! Great video, thanks The Minute Marker👍👍😂
This watch is 100% not for hipsters. Trust me.
A Rolex submariner is hard to find under 10k now, so you can't really compare the two. That said, the Tudor is a cooler watch imo.
Lol who even is this?
BB58 looks better than bb pro.
The dial is great but watch is way too thick and bulky. Should be 10.5mm thick MAX. Very few brands get the height to width ratio correct
Watch is nice, but why the yellow nails?
I have the bb58 and love it. I like a loose fitting watch, but agree an extra micro adjustment would be ideal. The rivets don’t bother me, and besides, they’re hard to see while you’re wearing it. I’ve owned it for 7 months and really haven’t had a desire to buy another watch since. More often than not, this is the watch I reach for daily more than any other in my collection.
That was a great story, one that has an attachment to this watch. I'm planning to get the AT in 38mm and I was looking for some reviews on this one which is when I chanced upon your video. I've just got one question. You mention in your video that the AT is unbrushed which means I should expect the scuffing and scaring that the watch would accumulate. I never knew about this. Is that something do you think could be fixed easily by an AD?
Absolutely! Whether it's a quick polish to return the original luster of the polished center links, or getting the entire thing brushed (which I would never do personally, but I know Jody on Just One More Watch did) it should't be more than a trip to a decent watchmaker or AD away.
@@theminutemarker Thanks for the reply. considering getting the watch with the Rubber strap and not the bracelet. I'm more concerned on the polish of the dial itself. Did you also mean that in your video?
offtopic: i love your earring! i was also thinking about a peal piece lately and i think you covinced me
This comment makes me extremely happy! I hope you love how it looks on you. Actually, let me know!
@@theminutemarker I will! Did you make this piece yourself or where you able to buy it from somewhere? I would like to get a real pearl so I was thinking about actually making one
@@dieser_kirschner1326 this one is from Mejuri! I believe this one and the ones from Eliou are all real pearls, but don’t quote me haha. I was actually just thinking earlier today about how cool it would be to learn to actually make jewelry!
@@BrandonShannonPaul thanks, i will check them out! it would be very cool indeed!
This is an awesome video! - and an interesting take on the heft/“brutalist” description of BB58. I don’t even know if this is a word, but I always describe this to my watch buddies as the more “professorial” or “erudite” version of the sub. It wouldn’t look out of place on the wrist of a dude in a tweed blazer and an oxford button down. The sub to me has a really cold, sharp design (which I love by way, and if the sub only existed under museum glass, I’d be cool paying $10 just to see it) but this Tudor just has its own vibe and warmth that you did an AWESOME job of capturing! Make more!
Thank you very much dude! More on the way. Warmth was absolutely the word!
This is the best video about BB58 I've seen on TH-cam. awesome work.
You are too kind!
No it’s not.
If you had to choose one watch from what looks like your collecting. The bb58, aqua terra or that two tone Tudor which would you go with? For that one watch suited for all types of scenarios Great video btw, I hope you produce more of them.
I would choose the two tone Tudor for sure, but I very much have an affinity for gold. That said, the svelte profile of the bb36, regardless of the variation, can't be beat. More on the way!
It is actually modeled after Tudor's own Submariner from 1958... which was modeled after the Rolex Submariner... That's where it got it's name from!
you're a natural, man. keep at it!
I being thinking of getting one thank you for the review 👍🏼👊🏼
Glad I could help
Is it pink gold or only paint? Thanks
where did you get the bands
which one do you prefer more? AT? BB?
