@@emexfresho4663 I’ve heard of electrical engineering majors and several other engineering majors that did get internships their freshman year! There’s no minimum grade for events such as the job fair and info sessions with companies, so I’d definitely encourage you to go and apply to as many internships you can your freshman year!

Yes! West Village is a residence hall with housing for Graduate students.

By what time engineering classes finish on Monday, wed and friday
Hi, Malik! We can't give a definitive answer for that question because it changes every semester based on when classes are scheduled. However, typically, classes that are held on Monday/Wednesday/Friday are 50 minutes while Tuesday/Thursday classes are 1 hour and 20 minutes. Of course there are a few exceptions.

Quick question why did you swap from civil to mechanical?
I swapped because I wanted to expand my job opportunities! Mechanical engineering is more broad than civil engineering and it allowed me to explore other parts such as industrial and chemical.👍

There is a student organization you could join that's a direct affiliate with Special Olympics Texas! Students at TTU have access to a site called TechConnect where they can search through and get information to how to join the different student organizations we have on-campus.
