Oh god this show was gut wrenching broke down crying when dex started crying in his bed at his dads
You are so good at verbalising this show. I have enjoyed it so much. Please comment on the book once you finish reading.
IKR I wanna keep rewatching it but I just need a break. I can hardly watch the videos 💜

well it is a roast 🔥 🍖
She doesn’t choose her jokes - she reads them off the teleprompter
I would not pay 25 cents to see her.no talent.who writes her jokes better get another job.315
Thank you to widen my cat perspective
my pleasure 😼
When you get invited for being rumoured to be dating Tom Brady...a rumour spun by herself while she tried to force the relationship to happen by hopefully being in close proximity 😂
Her jokes sucked she got booed really hard when she got announced and walked on stage Kevin hart literally had to tell the people to stop 🤣🤣🤣she’s a scumbag
Oh that poor girl. No one cares it’s a roast.
What the hell is she doing there? What an insult to Tom. She's disgusting. I would've booed her too. She ain't special
No she had the best jokes...
And people blamed tje swifties, bit if it was them, she would have been booed at the met gala as well! Wich disappointingly didnt happen!!!!
Damn, I love this channel!! 💖
She is trash
Who tf invited her?
i;d say............booooooooooo !
Her mom lol
She probably paid to be there.
i watched this a couple of days ago and it’s all i can think about. i find myself getting teary throughout the day i can’t get it off my mind, i feel like im grieving. i got so attached to their characters and find myself thinking deeply about my life and choices ive made and if ive wasted time or how much time i have left to do things i always said i wanted to do or if i will ever find a love like that, someone to be so deeply in love with you the way dex and emma are. can’t stop thinking about it and getting emotional is that normal 😩😆 reading these comments make me feel slightly better!
I think this film encapsulates cinema. We need those films that leave you with something to mull over after watching. If you don't have an iron stomach don't watch it, but if you have a love for the macabre, ambiance and disturbing cinema. Watch this film. I've seen this more times than I can count and yes it's hard to watch but it's unique and genre defying cinema
I don't know, it wasn't that disturbing to me, forced edginess more like, and extremely boring, but to each their own
Can you define edgy?
Love love loved your review❤ Also i was fairly unknown of 80's music until this show but i wanted to always. This show really gave me one of the best nostalgia which i never lived ironically. Im so glad on so many levels for this show.Ambika and Leo gosh❤
Thanks! I know how you feel because I felt the same honestly! ❤️
Your review is soooo good. I listened to it three times. I didn't read the book, so I didn't know about Maddy. I would have been upset if they included Maddy in it. So strange that I wondered about the employee at the cafe without knowing anything about her. I watched the series in one evening till 3 AM about a week ago, and I am still emotionally exhausted.
Thanks, I really appreciate it! ❤️ I plan to compare the book and the series someday.
Definitely a must watch. A simply outstanding series! Great review.
Thank you!
I loved this very good acting .👏👏🙏⭐️
I agree!
@@ButterCat36 it gets you right in the heart .The chemistry between these two is amazing hope they do more work together.
What's the song at the end of the video?
!!!
we'll get back to you, looking it up 🤔

Thank you!!
Was this song in the show or am I tripping
I felt Dex had alot of issues. I felt Emma knew herself pretty well, made good choices and loved him more at every moment❤.
My wife loves rom coms and those kinds of movies and shows and I’ve watched so many of them it’s not even funny anymore lol but when she suggested I watch this with her I WAS NOT PREPARED! I never read the book, never saw the movie, I was hooked in the first episode by their chemistry and how genuine it felt it didn’t feel forced. The ending broke me and I cried harder than my wife did throughout the episode lol I think one reason it’s so emotional beyond great writing, directing, soundtrack, and of course acting, it was spending so much time with these characters through their ups and downs and that helps to create a connection with the characters. It was amazingly done to say the least and the actors are unbelievable they really nailed it
I enjoyed the show and watched many times.
can’t wait for season 2!
I lived this movie!! The most touching movie I ever watch. I cried buckets if tears. ❤
I loved this movie!!
Me too! I kept crying every time I rewatch the last episode.
Please do a video to compare the book to the series esp Tilly 👀 I noticed place markers and signs of Indian heritage for Emma which aren’t obvious on the first watch Maybe a section on Feminism too , series vs book
Wow that’s so interesting, I’m gonna need to rewatch to find the place markers and signs of Indian heritage, thanks! I hope to do a book vs tv series comparison in a week or two!
I just read that David Nicholls wrote the BBC adaptation of Tess of the D'Urbevilles which is one of my favourite books. The quote: "there was yet another date, of greater importance to her than those; that of her own death...a day which lay sly and unseen and among all the other days of the year, giving no sign or sound." features heavily in the story and goodness me does it have the same tragic clout in One Day as it did in the Thomas Hardy Book/drama. Yikes!!!! Good one, Nicholls, good one.
Ooh that makes me wanna watch the BBC adapatation now! He’s just brilliant, I just can’t move on from the series
I've never had a series where I started it again immediately afterward. What a great synopsis in this episode.
I get what you mean! I rewatched the first and last episode the next day because I just couldn’t let it go.
"Do finish it on a Saturday" lmao I couldn't agree more. I finished it on a Sunday evening and I was too distraught to get any work done the next day. Had to call in sick for another day because I just couldn't function.
I sooo get this, because I actually felt devastated for about a week to the point I’d actually tear up at the mere thought of the last episode 💔
omg this is me now, i’ve been in tears for 2 days im so emotional feel like im grieving. can’t stop thinking about them and how dex must be feeling after losing her wondering if he’s happy and what he done with his life after that. it’s consumed my life…. HELP 😢😂
excellent review. well done. would love to see you compare it to the book
Thank you! Will definitely do a comparison in the future
I'm destroyed forever wishing this fir a good reasom.im obsessed
So am I, it’s been almost a month and I still can’t get over how good the series is
Looking for similar love story that profoundly affected me. Nothing. Comes close
Maybe Brokerage mtn
"Do finish it on a saturday because you're gonna need a day or two to recover" It's been like 3 weeks and it's still on my mind. It sits with you. There's a closure in the last episode but I don't want to let it go either. One of the best shows Netflix has put out in years.
I agree! I actually couldn’t think of it without wanting to cry for a week but I thought if I said that, I’d seem too melodramatic. So great to meet kindred spirits who feel the same about the series!
Feels so good to know that I’m not alone and we all share the suffering. The lingering after effects…!! What a emotional wreck, really.
I finished this a few days ago and i cannot get it off my mind. It really does stay with you ❤
Vanbur es increíble 😢❤ yo también lloro cuando las escucho o veo las escenas con esas canciones.
especially Falling Colour 😭🥹💔
Beautiful amd brilliant resume. Wonderful serie and actors! WoW! So touching.... Thanks to Evernyone involved. Thanks Butter Cat ❤❤❤
Thanks so much for watching! ❤️Hope to see more from the actors in the future
I don't usually like reviews but this was excellent. The best series or film I've possibly ever watched. It stays with you and when I hear the Vanbur tracks I'm in tears.
Thanks so much for watching! I know what you mean, I was so moved by it that I did my first TV series review ever 🥹
Deeply affected by this series. Changed my entire outlook on life in general.
definitely did for us as well, opened up a whole new dimension in 💞
Should have read the book. I broke down at the end. Felt like I lost a friend
the mixtape that Emma send Dex is the soundtrack created by David Nichols. Love this two soundtracks, VANBUR and the playlist. Love your commentary.
Thank you! I can’t stop listening to Vanbur, they’re so good.
@@ButterCat36 yes! Descubro Vanbur y no puedo dejar de escuchar! Como la playlist! Descubrí muchos temas. Saludos!
"you're gonna need a day or two to recover" was the only thing i disagree with the video... more like a week or two lol
😂😂😂 facts
been a month. I have thought about it everyday. it's one of those things that makes you realize your sly and unseen day is coming or maybe it's already passed this year.. and those missed opportunities with your em or dex are also passing by.
I’m glad they removed Maddy from the ending too.
it worked really well for the TV series!
I was going to say the exact same thing! 💞
Absolutely
I tell everyone to avoid this film. Some things can't be unseen, uber disturbing. It's well made atleast but does massively suck. Midsommar is overrated also, not even a horror film, same goes for the lighthouse. I'll take a John Carpenter classic any day of the week.
damn you're on point. A Serbian Film & Midsommar are some of the most boring movies I've ever seen. never seen Lighthouse, guess I gotta avoid it now
I love your commentary
thank you so much 🙏🏽
OMG how I freaking wish I would've saw this before getting sucked into watching this trainwreck
😂😂😂 nice to know someone agrees. hope you didn't watch till the end like I did
@@ButterCat36 Sad to say that I watched till the end. I was at ep 6 when I realized what I wanted to see was never going to happen. With 2 eps left I thought it couldn't possibly get worse but alas here we are.
@@FreshBL same. I was just waiting for the foreplay to end, it didn't, next thing I know there's only a few episodes left so might as well finish it
Helldivers 2 brought me here.
based
cringe, House of Ninjas was one of the few good releases from Netflix in a long while
I wanna disagree with you but the level of Netflix originals is so low you might be right
