    Have never tried making this before. I used your recipe....mostly. Instead of 200 grams (about 7 ounces) of plain flour, I used 6 ounces and then added 1 ounce of rice flour. It added an unbelievable level of crispness. Couldn't find mushroom powder, but at only 1 teaspoon I figured it wouldn't make a difference. Thanks much for the tutorial!

      cut down on the salt... hope that helps. sometimes I forget to add it to the batter , so I adjusted them in my sauces... High temperature .. few minutes ..is the key to get them cooked perfectly..

    The way you cut the meat from the shell TOWARDS your hand is going to get you--or someone watching your video--a severe cut one day. ALWAYS cut away from yourself. You can put the shell on the cutting board and cut away from yourself or run the knife in longer cuts and then use a nut pick, spoon or other smaller rounded item to scrape out the coconut. I often put the whole thing in a double layer of plastic bags and then on my cutting board, hit it multiple times with a cleaned/sanitized hammer. The coconut usually breaks into small enough pieces that they either pop out of can easily be scraped out.

      I would avoid the sugar entirely since Cold and cough is an indication that there is inflammation in the body . It's a herbal tea so try without sugar for benefits.

    Everything checked out with mine and still was bad. I was so upset, because I was really looking forward to this delicious treat, since it's my favorite fruit. I'm from the tropics, so I know what to look for when choosing a coconut whether it'd be dry or young. I grew up eating all kinds of treats made from it. I had my own supply in my backyard. I stopped for a good while chasing them, now that I no longer live in the tropics. You cannot find the coconuts I'm used to have. I think 1 single time I found one that tasted the way it was supposed to. The rest was just plain bad or not up to my standards. I think I'm staying away from buying them, this time for good. It's just not worth it. I'll just stick to Outshine Coconut Bars or Talenti Caribbean Coconut Gelato when my coconut urges come knocking. Tip: Do not buy anything else other than these 2 products when looking for a good coconut frozen treat. You won't like it.

      Hi Jenny its a gamble every time . These days I pick the shredded frozen coconut to get the coconut milk and use the dessicated coconut for my cookies. With inflation its not an economical choice given the location and being away from the tropics. Oh i love the Talenti Gelato's ... In fact you can also check out some Asian stores( If US - Look for 99 ranch/H Mart / Patel stores ) for coconut ice cream. They are fabulous....If you loved the coconut flavor.. then try the Ube flavor.. you might like it.. 👍

      I use sunflower oil for deep frying. Any oil which has high smoke point will work.

So what you see is my left hand and anyway this is far better than the commercial fried stuff which has multiple chemicals which we never question . The irony isn't it 😃.

      @@yprime651 Yes it tastes better than the red and maybe that is why people tend to eat many in 1 sitting.. Yellow taste better , red looks better . Sugar % difference between the two won't be much as long as we stick to 1 fruit per day.

    I'm starting to understand why we should be on a carnivor diet. A plant or root you are eating is irritating your hand. If it was ment for us to eat, why it doing that.

      AHAHHA....hello😃 ..well choosing which diet to follow is personal preference. The intensity of irritation can vary from person to person and it's not like ant bites 😂.. Its just that our body reacts to its outer skin, that's all. ..a bit of coconut oil solves that. Now why would humans go on to eat something that causes irritation ... Curiosity & Necessity 😁 .     Please also share recipe of pumpkin seed butter from overnight soak seeds in water. In morning how to dry seeds and how to make butter? Please also share recipes in which pumpkin milk. Can be used like cake, biscuits , pudding.

      Hi Hina. For making pumpkin seed butter you should not soak in water. Instead roast them in the pan until you get the toasty smell or you can smell the roasting smell of pumpkin. Then transfer to a mixer grinder. Add bit of salt and grind in different intervals. First 2 or 3 mins, it will be grainy ..You will end with a creamy texture by 12 or 15 mins. depends on the grinder/equipment you use.       @@elsalchemy But I can't digest seeds without soaking in water. It cause bloating, abdominal pain, diarrhea I can digest pumpkin r any seeds by soaking method seeds soak in water12 hours. Please tell seeds butter recipe by soaking in water and then dry , roast butter method.

      @@hinakhalid6661 Okay in that case, soak overnight and dry it under sun .Given the hot temperatures it should dry up fast. Then proceed to grind it in a mixer grinder with some salt. The only reason I asked to roast and not soak was for seed butters ,we tend to avoid moisture since it can become spoilt fast. If you are able to dry your seeds after soaking then it solves that problem. hope this helps.

    In summer very hot season is this ok to leave soak pumpkin seeds and different dry fruit like raisins overnight in room? in summer season any food soak in water overnight in room smell very bad in morning.

      after soaking , discard the water and rinse in water multiple times. Else you could soak it around 6 pm in the evening and put it back in fridge for overnight and discard the water in the morning .
