This review is crap ! Presenting it in daylight, no live-tests.
Excellent
Is that the standard flashlight size (up to 0.91”)? If so I have the same sheath (minus the pen slot) and didn’t think I had the space to run an olight Arkfeld. Great video!
Sorry, I'm writing through a translator, if you want a functional flashlight, take a look Streamlight 1l 1AA pro tac
So just like every EDC tool kit on TH-cam. 😢
The material sounds noisy or is it just the microphone making it sound louder?
It’s fucking huge
I gave a bag like this to my guys as diaper bags. No dude wants to roll around with baby animals on his bag.
I have the full open mini 2 set and they are great! The seasons set is beautiful I hope you were able to grab one!!
I have both. The jumbo and the Fatboy. Love them both. 99% of the time i carry the fatboy just because with the jumbo i have the tendency of overstuff it with gear and the fatboy makes me carry the essentials.
I have bought the zip ties, the para cord and the super glue for my survival kit Also their small duct tape too. Our Dollar Tree also has $1.25 tarps
I love the practicality of tactical bags and pouches. I’d love to have many Maxipedition pouches. I am the woman who wants all of the practicality of a tactical bag but the aesthetics of a smooth lined travel bag. Less MOLLE, more magnetic buckles rather than the plastic clips and absolutely zero Velcro! I hate being in church and needing something from my bag and that something is in the Velcro pocket 🤦♀️. The same thing happens to me after the hubs goes to bed. I do enjoy Peak Design bags and pouches but have often thought of what it would be like to design a tactical bag that was more female friendly. I am so much like you in that the next bag is always greener….especially if I can find it in blue. 😂 I have stopped buying bags with Velcro on them, that is a deal breaker. If I had my way, I’d change backpacks all the time as purses. A neck injury from 3 years ago has made it hard to carry as much as I once did. I kinda discovered the world I’d come to know as “Carry” or “EDC” as a kid when I was always with my parents as they took care of my ailing grandparents. I never knew when I left the house if I’d go home after school or end up gone till 10pm or end up in a hospital ER waiting room for hours and hours. So I learned to pack a bag separate from school with kid essentials. My Sony Walkman (telling my age) and my Sony Watchman! That was the grand prize there. A 3in black & white screen that picked up 3-6 channels on a good clear night. I’d keep a small blanket or like one small jacket and one coat. Those were for sleeping and just getting comfortable. Paper and pens were a must and always books to read. I would also get snacks from the vending machines and store them in my bag. As an adult, it changed over the years. I know all about those baby bags. I taught my kids to carry their own packs as they got older. I know my daughter still does and I’m not sure about my son. I think he just throws things in the floor board of his truck. Not sure how his wife deals with that 😂 These days I don’t need a baby bags or kid bag, but I have a service dog, elderly parents and a daughter that ends up in the ER every so often so I try to keep a 24 hour go bag/ backpack in my truck. Lots of carry items I have moved to my truck. But lately, while I want it all on my back, my back says no. So I am trying out sling bags which is really new to me. Right now I am giving the 5.11 lv10 15 Liter one last try. I love the organization but the harness system doesn’t typically work well on my small body frame. I would like the try out the Peak Design 10L Sling or the Peak Design outdoor 7Liter sling. I’ve also looked at the 5.11 LV8 Sling which seems to have a much better harness system. I love to be able to have a CCW spot that is well located. I too keep a tide pen and the Wet Ones Wipes. I also keep plain ole baby wipes, kleenex, lip balm, hand lotion etc. My battery bank, most necessary cords. I love the Hot Hands and need to replenish my inventory. I keep a water bottle and water flavoring. Extra scrunchies and a hair brush. I am trying to get my make up routine smaller and smaller because I never remember to put it on before I leave the house 😂 I’m ADHD so if it’s not in my bag, I won’t remember it. I really just wish people didn’t look at me funny when I carried my 20-35 liter backpacks as purses.😂 I really just want a pretty version of Mary Poppins bag.
Great video! Love the bag.
@@kimberlykreidler6390 thank you so much!!!
Thanks for the shout-out babe. I'm not a bag guy, but if I was, the Max Fatboy would be the one I would pick. Awesome video A. Nice to see you again. Missed ya!

@@sakshamdhanda3759 hahaha!!!! love it or hate it, it’s my thing. I’m stuck with it now
You are ready to go- I carry much less- but I have a larger bag in my car
@@kathleensmith370 that’s not a bad way to go at all. Less on you but nearby just in case.
Funny TH-cam hasn't shown me your videos lately and ironically I just got this style bag only smaller. Made by Red Rock "Sidekick Sling Bag". I even just did a short awkward video of it myself lol. So much I missed talking about 🤷😂
@@va6gkthaskey311 I’ve been slacking on the videos for the last month or so. I should be back to a more normal schedule tho. I’ll check out the red rock one, I’ve hear good things about them, not the priciest and hold up pretty well.
@@va6gkthaskey311 I’ll also check out your video!!!!
@@EDCQ thank you for the watch and compliment!!
@@EDCQ I've read some of their bags are made in the US and some not. 🤷. Not necessarily a deciding factor but still great to support locals when possible. Even as a Canadian 🤠
@ I haven’t looked into where their stuff is made but I’m going to.
Love the load-out. Thanks for sharing. Have a prosperous year. Cheers from Australia.
@@unfi6798 thank you so much! You too!!!
Oh man that's the OG, I ran a jumbo for a long time. Definitely high quality. I have a ton of maxpedition stuff. Currently running the falcon 2 backpack
@@MrJsv650 right!?!? An oldie but a goodie. I’ve never owned a falcon 2, what do you think of it?
I have the Maxpedition Mongo Versipack. It's very big for a shoulder bag, but I do like it. It can carry so much stuff. It's built like a tank, and will likely outlast me! I do sometimes wish that Maxp. would make something with a high-vis interior, like Vanquest, as I prefer the black bags but it can be a pain finding something especially when it's getting dark.
@@DaftdogUK I haven’t gotten a mongo yet, but it’s in my list. What do you think of it? I could see it getting very heavy for a shoulder bag. Love love love a high viz interior!!!!!
I have the jumbo and love it! It can hold a ton of stuff, but can get a little heavy on the shoulder if I have it packed full, but that's also about with any bag. I braided around the grab handle on mine with muti-cam paracord and it makes it look cool and feel much more sturdy when I need to grab the handle to move it.
@@abri_elf agree!!! Love my jumbo but I have to be careful or it can get heavy. Both are excellent bags!!! Thank you for watching and commenting!
I’ve owned one for 20 yrs. Can’t recommend it. Too heavy, too stiff, hurts carry shoulder
@@DrDennis Maxpedition bags do tend to be on the stiffer size and they definitely are a heavier bag even empty. All good points!!! This is definitely a short distance bag for me, not my choice if I’m going to be wearing a bag for several hours at a time
Hello. Thanks for sharing the video. Is this the crazy horse distressed brown or the crazy horse orange? Please let me know. Thanks
I really enjoy the video thank you so much. The thing I run across with some sling bags is the straps being really fat and really rough I like bags that have a thinner strap. Any recommendations?
Thank you for this review! Which pouch did you attach to the webbing?
What a great kit, and great video! Not everything has to be overkill, especially if we’re not trained on First Aid response.
Great video just got my ts10 and couldn’t figure out how to turn Aux light off.
You should look in to olight flashlights they have so many options and they are all durable
Much respect. I am in the Apple ecosystem as well and though I am too bored with its aesthetics i love the connectivity and having my data seamlessly available on all my devices. Excited to see what route you take
I am having trouble getting the screws to fit. Did you have to get larger screws to fit the stock sheath?
Really good review! I just ordered one. Thanks!
Cutting hard metal wire, hanger or other, at one time WAS the norm with a Leatherman multi-tool. I did so for many years for work, ranch, and home. Those of us old enough do remember this. My newer Leatherman Rebar failed right away doing what used to be the norm for my old original model Leatherman. While they have lowered their standards I have not. That being said Leatherman replaced the broken removable wire cutting blades with the exact same style blades. Needless to say my confidence with their wire cutters is not what it once was. That Arc looks mighty foo-foo!
More anti-diahrreal, trust me on this one! 😅 I just discovered your channel and rather enjoyed the video. I have travelled considerably for work both domestic and international and a proper EDC is a must although it may have to be tapered somewhat depending upon location and means of travel. After years of adjusting and modifying I have settled upon a multipronged attack at EDC. An altoids tin in a front pocket with a few of the larger items crossloaded in the remaining pockets of my pants and in my wallet seem to work best for me. This allows me to carry a somewhat comprehensive kit without looking like I'm carrying a large kit even while wearing Wrangler or Levi jeans......much less when wearing cargo or tactical pants. About the only thing I don't carry on a daily basis in my pockets/wallet/belt while in "normal attire" would be any proper forms of large cover items, or a large fixed blade knife, although I always have them positioned for carry if the perceived need arises. I do not carry items on my belt or belly/fanny bag routinely. I want to have the things I need without looking like I am carrying a ton of stuff. Aside from large cover elements I can typically cover my remaining 15's C's without anyone usually being the wiser. (I prescribe to the normal 10 C's as well as an additional 6 C's I have found needed when building/carrying a complete kit.) Reminds me of a time when me and the guys in our away team work group came down with a bad case of the backside blowouts just prior to a very long international flight back home. Scary time for sure! 😅
Wurkkos just sent me the TS10 max!
I would recommend adding some Klein Electrician Scissors aka snips. They're 5.25 inches (13.5cm) so they don't take up a lot of space, and they both cut and strip 19AGW and 23AWG wire.
How do you do a review without even testing the flashlight outside.......
Large and beefy. Has work knife qualities. Good stuff from Artisan 👍🏽
Dude wipes!!
Great video kid, cool kit!
Medications last far longer than the date listed..years in fact..there was a study done with a Harvard university and the US government with meds from a long time ago and they lost very little potency over a great number of years..
Do you happen to have a link to that screwdriver?
A pair of rubber gloves in a small mylar zip bag would be a nice addition to the inside pocket in the back. And one of those flat wallet sized mirrors and magnifying glass cards wouldn't take up too much space either. A couple other suggestions would be small disposable ear plugs, a Telescoping straw and pen sized Telescoping magnetic reacher tool. I would add a small glue bottle or glue stick and lighter in the fix it side. I think you should ditch the driver and go with your leatherman bit kit and ratchet extension plan. I have a kit setup like this and it is so handy in everyday life!
I found that a pair of players and a prybar are very important
Huge fan of the smaller flashlights too, I like the baton as well. I just ordered the olight imini. It takes up barely any space so it’s pretty convenient, I hope anyway haha. Great video, love to see fellow EDCers!
I also have the same "problem" when I switch bags. Especially moving from my morning carry at work to my afternoon routine with my kids outside. So...there are a lot to say but I'll stick to those small bit n bytes that I saw that you also tend to seek for. I have small ziplock plastic bags of two or three sizes (kind of 5*8cm the small ones...and 7*11 the bigger ones). Inside them I have prestuffed some of my everyday essentials: two safety pins of two sizes, 2 elastic hair bands, 5m of kevlar cord, 3 zip ties rounded, an old card with duct tape around. This is the full contebt for the bigger plastic bag. I have like 5 or 6 of these and there is one that lives in my wallet (small) ...and others that I move from bag to bag. For a knives I'd suggest something slim. Why not a Civivi Circulus, which is a very cute fixed blade...
What impresses me about the Perun 3 is that it can run 600lm for 5 hours. That's more than enough to say walk 10 miles over rough ground in the dark. That is what I call a good headlight.
looks like a great worker knife- probably a little to large for me for everday- I dont have any artisan, but I have a couple of smal cjrbs that I like
@@kathleensmith370 agree, it is a larger knife. Do you recommend any of your cjrb knives? I might have to try some more out
@@EDCQ You cant go wrong with any of the Pyrites- I also enjoy the very small Maileah
Very cool 😊
@@TBEDC agree!!!!!
You can also use D ring to attach it to your belt
