Does the weight of the conch affect the sound quality? If the diameters are same but one is heavier and the other is lighter in weight then which one is better?
Yes weight obviously affects the sound......u mentioned diameters are same but what about the length??..overall length and diameter and especially thickness of shell determines the weight....I.e heavy or light 🙂
@@shreekrishna4074 Length and diameter both are same. One Gauri Shankh is heavier than other then which one I’d buy?
@@PariChowdhury-i1u I think go for heavy weight.....as per my experience, heavy weight shankhs are quite loud

Shankh jyada nahi bajana hota hai.....morning me 3 baar and evening me 3 baar is enough

Gowri Shankh bhi accha khasa weight hota hai , mera pas 12 inch ka Gowri shankh hai weight Accha khasa weight hai approximately 4 kg weight hai .
possible nahi ho sakta ye......extremely rare case me 4kg tak jayega gauri shankh me......lekin 4kg ka gauri shankh maine aaj tak kisi sea shell dealer se nahi suna.....weighing machine pe exact weight check karna chahiye mere hisaab se....bahot se sea shell dealers andaza weight batate hai aur hum bhi weighing machine pe utna check nahi karte hai ....12 Inch max 3kg tak dekha hai maine

Sughosh shankh is also called ganesh manduk shankh and it is associated with Lord Ganesha. ...This shankh was used by pandava nakula which he blew before the beginning of mahabharat war.....it's scientific name is tutufa bubo.....this is the most beautiful shankh and has deep bass sound....very easy to blow....perfect shankh for beginners
